I think Lillard has a decent shot at ROY, or at least being a top 3 contender for it. He's a shoot-first PG who is in a back court without any other scorers. Really, after Aldridge, who is likely to be our second leading scorer? My guess is Lillard will call his own number a lot. In the past 20 years, all but 3 of the ROY's have scored more than 15 ppg. 9 of those ROY's have been ball-dominating guards. 7 have been point guards. Between his position, his age, his style of play, and his history of scoring on otherwise limited offensive teams, he seems to have a lot of factors in place to be right in the mix when the ROY ballot comes out.
