Quinn gets no credit for playing the number 1 pick on the draft in the top 6. He would be fired if he didn’t. As for KAKKO he’s more than earned his time and it’s about time Quinn recognized it. Miller again was so good that wuinn had no other choice. He has done nothing to develop laf or Miller. KAKKO he’s done everything starting last year to put as many road blocks in front of him as he can. To the kids credit he’s playing well despite Quinn. Maybe genius Quinn can stop playing smith and Johnson who both suck and get Hajek back in there. Also, Barron needs to get playing time and there are plenty of forward candidates for him to replace starting with lemieux who is offensively inept and plays only 5 minutes a game. Don’t know what your love affair is with Quinn chick but IMO it’s misplaced!
That's exactly the response I would expect...LOL. When he does good things/things you want, no credit because he's supposed to do that. Or Quinn gets no credit because it's the player stepping up. When he does things you don't want, he gets slammed because he doesn't know what he is doing, and then it isn't on the player, it's all on Quinn. That's very fair and rational thinking. No credit for Miller, no credit for Lafreniere, no credit for Chytil, no credit for Buch's clear development. But you know Kakko has more than earned his time, I'd love to know how you know that - do you sit in on practice and talk with the coaches, but he has more than earned it and it's all on Quinn for not seeing it. I'll tell you someone who doesn't see it...hahahaha. The best was when you got on him for not playing Chytil, Kakko, and Lafreniere on the PP, then the next game you got on him for having them out there and not PP # 1. That was awesome. Bottom line is I disagree with the nonsense about Renney, I mean Torts, I mean AV, sorry I mean Quinn. I get confused which coach we are talking about because it's the same exact posts as prior coaches, with different player names in the mix. Funny. I have no love affair with Quinn. I'm not sure he is the right coach for when we are ready to take the next step starting next season. But I'm not irrational, so unlike you guys it isn't I love him and he's the best, or I hate him and he's the worst and needs to be fired, there is a logical middle ground. I realize to date he has been fine as our coach and certainly does not deserve to be fired. We'll see where he goes from here.
When I got on him for having them on the PP he also had the useless tandem of holden and lemieux on the PP with them which canceled them out.
