Oooh, that must of sucked, for Wally at least. Must have been a bit of a laugh for everyone watching.

Yea it was by Bowen. If any other player kicked Wally in the face, then I would say it was a complete accident. I can't exactly really say the same thing about Bruce-Lee Bowen.

<div class="quote_poster">BALLAHOLLIC Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">When Gilbert Arenas was a rookie he got the normal rookie treatment. One day they sent him out to get a bunch of powdered donuts. He brushed all the powder off and applied baby powder to them. 3-4 guys starting eating the baby powder donuts then they almost throw up. Arenas could not stop laughing.

Steve Francis said he would be called "explosive" too if he were allowed to shoot as much as Gilbert Arenas. With a straight face, Arenas replied: "I'd be called a closet case too if I cried about Cuttino Mobley every night."

Jordan came down the lane against the Jazz and dunked on John Stockton. Then somebody in the crowd yelled "Dunk on somebody your on size"

The very next play he dunked on 6'11 Mel Turpin. Went over to the fan and said "Is he big enough"

From the funny nba quotes thread, "That didn't bother me. I am not going to worry about a guy trying to be tough with a pink tie on."
    - Ben Wallace, on the injured Marcus Fizer acting like he was going to come off the Bulls bench and fight.

"I didn't even know Elvis was from Memphis, I thought he was from Tennessee"
    - Drew Gooden

At the news conference introducing Alvin Gentry as new coach of the LA
    Clippers
Question: Didn't you have any friends warning you not to take the job with
    the Clippers?
Gentry: They all encouraged me to take the job.
Question: You don't have any friends, do you?

Don Nelson on Dirk Nowitzki's new crew cut: "I didn't know he was that
ugly. I thought he was a pretty good looking fella when he had hair, but,
oh my goodness, did that bring out all his bad features or what. He's
going to be single all the rest of his life!"

Joe Kleine (Pho): "Charles [Barkley] and I have no-trade clauses. His is
written in. Mine, well, nobody wants to trade for me."</div>

[IMG] BALLAHOLIC had the best ones.

Jordan lol. Gooden was joking, riiiiight? Arenas has always been a clever man.

<div class="quote_poster">Junoon Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I think vince Carter slapping Mo Pete, and Mo Pete slapping him back with Mo being the one to be ejected is perhaps the funniest NBA moment I have witnessed.</div>
Yea that was funny, Mo Pete couldn't believe it! lol

<div class="quote_poster">Umair15 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Heck yes. Refs were too strict on that. If they ejected Mo-Pete, then why not VC?</div>
Vince playfully slapped Mo Pete, the ref didn't see.

Mo Pete returned the favor, the ref saw and gave him his second technical (therefore ejected). I don't remember if Vince had a technical already too, and I think the Raps lost by 1 or 2 points, and Vince was scoring well in the 4th Q. So it could have been argued that Mo Pete would have played better defense on Carter than whoever else was defending him in the 4th Q.
