    Exactly.

    BTW

    50. What are option clauses? What kind of option clauses are there?

The window for all other options can close no later than June 30 of the year the option takes effect (an earlier date may be specified as a matter of individual negotiation).

Not as big as you think. The Bulls can offer 5 years with 8% raises (8% of the FIRST YEAR!). The Cavs can offer 6 years with 10.5% raises (10.5% of the first year!).

But if the Bulls resign him to a 6th year at an 8% raise, the difference is about $6.1M. In that 6th year, if the MAX salary for an 11 year veteran is more than $22.7M, the difference is less.

Off the top of my head, the answer to your question would be Rashard Lewis.

well, he could, but he'd have to do that "come in and sign your ETO away" thing that Etan Thomas did last year.

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but when Gilbert Arenas left the Warriors, he was not a superstar, nor a star. He was a 2nd year player averaging 18 ppg.

Arenas was a restriced free agent that GSW couldn't match, which has now led to the Gilbert Arenas rules in the CBA.

And Lebron James. One of these 4 names is unlike the other. Can you guess which one? The real question should be the last time a player getting max money took the 5 year deal instead of the 6 available via S&T. Not schmoes like Villanueva. Gimme a break.

Don't they do the draft differently now and not announce trades during the actual draft with David Stern coming out to deliver the big news? If so, this is going to be a tough draft to sit through with all of these rumors starting to swirl.

I guess we'll see in three days. Get us D. Will, KP.

They'll announce trades if it involves picks as long as the deals don't have to be delayed until after July 1st (like the Bayless, Jack trade).

Since we're throwing names around, would Steph Curry count as "ground breaking"? Whether or not he would be, I'd be elated if we pried him away from GS... wishful thinking, I know.

    Iggy is not earth shaking

Granger is great but not earth shaking

No second year player, even though I started the Steph Curry to Portland bandwagon last summer, is not earth shaking

    It's obviously Chris Paul.
