Davis got dinged, I'm sure, because of the team's record compared to Dirk.

So, Chuck thinks that the Clippers should have 3 All-Stars.

I obviously would pick Davis but it's close. Without the Pelican injuries, they'd have a better record and he'd be a lock.

Dragic maybe replace Kobe? So many guards!

Hmm, watching this gave me a thought

Is Lillard better than Dragic right now?

    No one is debating Lillard.

In my objective opinion, Dragic and Conley could both have made it over Lillard, but I'm guessing the coaches spend more time planning on defending Lillard than they do Dragic or Conley.

I know that reserve is normally used to denote a more private or elite brand. So All-Star reserves are better than regular all-stars.

Dragic doesn't get a lot of press because he plays on just a decent team in Phoenix

I can't deny that every time I watch him play, the guy kills it. I don't think he gets enough credit.

And for the advanced stats guys, his are great in this area. .600 TS%. That's up there with Steve Nash.

Also beats Lillard in PER (22 compared to 19).

If we have a good showing in postseason, we might have a starter or two next year.

Neither of the Blazers on the team are undeserving, though. The West is so good, maybe a few of the scrubs on the East can be kicked off the team, and guys like Dragic, Davis, and Cousins can make their team. :)

What order were the reserves announced in? Was Lillard last or something?

No, he wasn't. Howard was the last announced for the West.

    EDIT - CHANGED TO HOWARD.

Was Aldridge first? Just curious because it seems like they announce it based on who got the most votes.

I missed the first, but I assume so. Lillard was named in front of Chris Paul, Harden, Parker, Dirk and Howard.

So that means LMA was 1, and Lillard 2!
