If it's scrub for scrub then why bother. At least Gado was a good story to have in GB. Was a super character and team player

A scrub that ran pretty damn well behind broken O-Line against the Bears vaunted Defense last season.</div>
    Gratz to him. SCOREBOARD

What does that have to do with him being a scrub or not? I was defending the fact that he wasn't a scrub by stating the fact that he ran well against the bears.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pack Attack)</div><div class='quotemain'>Has Morency played any Fullback? The Packers cut Vonta Leach to make room for Koren Robinson. Do you think that might be a factor since Gado bombed at Fullback?</div>
He's a better kick returner and can probably be a 3rd down back. I don't think it's as bad as a trade as some are talking about but I don't think it's going to make much of a difference for us either. So it's kind of like why bother?

Gado went to Houston because Sherman recommanded him I bet. I think he has a chance to start there now.

Its a lot like ahmans 100 vs bears in last game. running the ball a lot when you down generates good #s but rarely comebacks. Not like rushing for 100 when you are up. thus. SCOREBOARD

Bears win one game and suddenly they are the second coming of Christ.

Classic Bears fan mentality. I guess when your motto has been "maybe next year" for the past 20 years, it's easy to get overexcited about one victory in a game you should win. *shrugs*

I dont see what that has to do with bearsfan mentality. Its a fact, getting 100 yards off draws while down is easy. Ahman had most bitch 100 yard game i have seen in a long time. Well, since Gado's.
Always suspicious when a team is down a lot and thier back rushes for 100. Usually means bitch yards. 8 yards on 2nd and 20, 7 yards on 3 and 12. Etc.

I agree with you. Green's 110 yards is deceptive. He picked up a ton of yards late in the game on draw plays and other junk runs. I think he averaged 2.9 yards per carry through the first three quarters. Anyone who says he had a "good game" is deceiving themselves, unless they're talking about him returning from his injury.

It's your constant SCOREBOARD references that are irritating me and that's the "Bears fan mentality" I'm referring to.

Hey Bears fan....contradict much? Do you remember when you tried to convince me that Gado was a better back than Willie Parker? Now you are arguing that Gado was a scrub? You would choose Gado over Parker right? Still feel that way?.....just to refresh you memory I produced the quote you posted..... Unlike your partner I will not change your quote or omit any sentences.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bears#1Fan)</div><div class='quotemain'>Gado averaged 4.1 yards a carry last season behind an injury filled team... Yes parker averaged 4.7 but he had alot of help in big ben, and the bus, and mr. SB mvp hines ward.. the packers were dismal last season so for gado to come in and average 4.1 is impressive.. he did pretty good agianst the bears last year.. Pitt beat the hell out of us but if i remember correctly it was the bus who beat our ass.. parker on got like 60 some odd yards on 21 carries agianst the bears.. so if i had to choose i would rather have Gado..</div>

I can understand you trying to post something just to upset me but to say Parker is a scrub just makes you look like you know nothing about football. He gained over 1200 yards in his first season as a starter while sharing carries with Bettis. He averaged 4.7 yards a carry over the entire season. Last week, he gained 115 yards and averaged 4 yards a carry against a tough Dolphins defense. Keeping in mind that Batch was at QB so the Dolphins were no doubt looking for Parker all night. It's fine that you have an opinion, just back it up with some fact. You and I both know that nobody around football thinks that Samkon Gado is a better back than Willie Parker.

That is where you lose some credibillity my friend, the Dolphins haven't done anything to signify being a tough defense yet, on paper they do yes, but how can you credit Willi Parker running on a Tough Defense when the defense has changed alot compared to last years? Now this is not to say they are a bad defense or anything but they aren't exactly the chicago bears, or Tampa Bay Bucs.

Tampa didn't look like it had a defense on Sunday. Or an offense for that matter.

I meant that to be partially sarcastic, but true I guess I forgot how bad the Bucs played, however weren't about 2 or 3 of those scores by Baltimore's defense?

Until Parker can put up those numbers by himself without bettis i will CONSIDER withdrawing my scrub comment.. This Year will tell the tale and i think Gado can be just if not more productive in the same system that parker is in.. Parker has the speed that Gado doesn't i will give him that.. But i think Gado could have done what parker did minus the 75 yard TD run in the superbowl.. so time will tell on this i won't get to see Gado in the same system or the same Team that parker is.. Just put Parker in The GB system of last season for the games Gado played and lets see if Parker could match it.. i don't think he could
