The only thing Gordon Hayward is better than Damian, is at LoL.

Gobert is more like Teemo. He just sits in one spot and waits for someone to make a poor decision.

Put your money where your mouth is sweetheart. Im even open to season long bets. Blazers finish with a better regular season record and go farther in the playoffs. Don't let these season previews go to your head.

Joe Johnson can still go off and shot the three ball.

    NOT.THE.SAME.THING.

Their "best" player has never averaged 20ppg or made an all star or all NBA team. Which is why they lost so many close games last year.

Of course, they believe 35-year old Iso Joe Johnson is the answer. I guess we'll see tonight. At one time, Johnson was a Brandon Roy level closer. The problem is, the last time that was true, so was Brandon Roy.

OK argument, except the making and all star team part.

Too bad he can't guard a chair.

Their best offensive players are also their worst defensive players and vise versa. Too bad this isn't football where they can have separate offensive and defensive squads.

Favors is really their only player who is significantly above average on both sides of the ball. Favors isn't a superstar, or even an all star. He's not the type of player that will light you up for 35 points, but he's damn solid and gets his points very efficiently. He's the biggest mismatch in UTA's favor (no pun intended). The key to controlling Favors is to keep him off the offensive glass. Aminu doesn't have the size, or strength to do that. So, look for a lot of Ed Davis and maybe even a little Noah Vonleh on Favors tonight. We can't let Favors pull down 7 ORBs tonight. That's 7 extra possessions for UTA, and given their ridiculously slow pace, that could easily be the difference in the ball game.

When did Gordon Hayward, the guy you (correctly) called their best player ever make an NB all star team?

Joe Johnson may have made the all star team in the past, in the Leastern Conference, and even that's been a while, but he's not their best player. As much as I wish he was (because it would mean the rest of their team sucks), he simply is not. Not even close. Hayward is better, Favors is better, Gobert is better, if you con't both sides of the ball, Hill is better, Hood is better, etc.

If both Favors and Hayward are out, we need to pounce on this team and take them out. I know there is no such thing as a must win game in October, but this is one of the teams we will be fighting against for playoff seeding and HCA. When it comes to tie breakers, wins in October count just as much as wins in April.
