Tonight is just the third NBA game since 1963-64 where neither team missed a free throw - 38 for 38 (DET@MIL, 1/12/12; ATL@TOR, 12/22/00).

Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling Lillard selfish in any way. I also wouldn't want him to fade into being a role-player. Just that he should make it a priority to play within the offense, move the ball, be willing to play off the ball, etc.
I love Lillard and appreciate his game very much, he's a leader and always a team player. I Just want him to make playing within the offense a priority. I don't think it hurts his MVP chances at all, I think he could be just as good and just as effective and that he's a worthy candidate

To emphasize your point.... Utah scored exactly ZERO points in the last 4:24 of the game. This wasn't an accident.

Impressed with Dame taking it right into the chest of Gobert over and over. Not sure how many dimes we had out there, but it seemed like they were really moving the ball around trying to find the open man. Vonleh continuing to play well on the offensive end, but his defense last night really impressed The HCP!

I've noticed Calabro doesn't give shout outs to the guys in the broadcast truck.

Sorry, as much as I love the comparison, those guys would work our guys over hard core because of their Defense.

I foresee a few open mic "accidents" in his future.

    Hey @HCP ,
I also noticed that the announcers don't seem to know to help Stotts. M&M would work with you on reviews and let Stott's know things like a 3 was actually a 2, etc.

I heard Calabro at one point say Stotts is looking for something,kl but not one mention of the replay and whether the call was right or wrong.

Did you work with M&M via headsets and actually communicate during games, and if so, what are your thoughts on Calabro doing this and is there any way to jump start that help?

Yes, MB would holler at me in the truck and ask if it was a good call or not, then he'd let the coaches know. It was just a chemistry thing we had developed over the years.

Schonz must have been thrilled, at least from Portland's standpoint. "You've got to make your free throws."

I found some footage from last night, and it shows The Schonz standing behind both baskets just staring at the guys while they were shooting FTs!

Google is not my friend. So just the Spurs and us won a game, yet we're in second place. Still. No. Respect.....
