btw good luck tonight . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Nah, Im kidding, I hope you get your asses handed to you on a platter
lol, good joke. I dont think anyone on the Lakers roster can take Artest, ESPECIALLY Kobe And yea, good luck.
Laker fans should be embarrassed of their players. All the Rockets do is play hard, and the Lakers response is trash talking, arrogant posturing, and cheap shots.
Totally agree. It's disappointing how their leaders (Kobe, Fisher) are the ones throwing these cheapshots. For a team down 0-1, they sure think the world of themselves. Hopefully this lights a fire under the Rockets and spur us to victory.
Sorry I saw the game one issue with Shane, but Ron totally overreacted in Game 2, he only has himself to blame and his history.
A deliberate elbow to the stomach? Well, I still wouldn't get two techincals over it for my team, it was a technical foul at worst after all the stuff I've seen Rondo do. He has a temper and anger management issues.
TNT guys just said Kobe should have been given a normal foul, not even Flagrant. My point is that Artest was feeling it tonight, he messed up.
The elbow was to the throat, Artest was complaining to the refs the whole time that he got called for a foul when Kobe "has an unnatural basketball motion" and elbows him in the throat. Kobe seems to jerk his elbows and knees towards the head and throat of players a lot.
The refs were right to eject Ron Artest in that situation, and Artest needs to control himself. That said, under the circumstances, I think Kobe deserved a technical for that thrown elbow as well. The refs sort of made up for it later by giving him a T for trash talking (something he was doing all game anyways).
Artest ran up to Kobe, but like Barkley said, he wasn't intending to fight Kobe, he just stepped it to let him know that he is going to take his cheap shit like that anymore. Artest also said Kobe was slapping his hand away when he was trying to play basic defense. Artest repeatedly let the refs know that they need to control Kobe, it kinda got him fired up when Kobe again gave him a cheap elbow. All he did was step up to Kobe and let him know that he isn't going to take that kinda shit from him. He deserved a TECHNICAL for running up to Kobe, but an ejection?
He deserved the technical, which he got. But then he continued to yell at Kobe and point to him, and that's what got him the second technical and ejection. When a player gets a T, they're supposed to settle down. Artest didn't show signs of cooling down, and the refs can't trust a player with his history to stay away from any altercations the rest of the game either.
