51-41 New Jersey at halftime. Too many turnovers in the second quarter leading to transition points for the Nets. The Raps have to step it up and take care of the ball if they want to win this game.
Im taking Nets 4-2 this series. More experience than Raptors although Raptors are ONE HELL of a team.
Nice of TJ Ford to screw things up after Calderon got us back in the game. We've got to find CB4 and give him the ball. That should open things up for our wings and keep NJ scrambling.
We gotta get Bosh out there more often, he's been playing great, Raptors need to settle down, I'm not too worried as this was our first playoff game in 5 years, and we're still very much in it, we're not playing Raptors basketball right now, but i have no doubt that once we get back to that, we'll take this game.

That got us to the deficit we're at now but at least Bosh won't have to worry too much about getting into foul trouble now. The Raptors need to start pushing the ball upcourt; the movement's not there, and neither seems to be the energy. No one is really standing out right now.
In the second quarter we got beat by a zone defense. We had no one penetrating with Bosh sitting and Bargnani playing terrible. It led to forced shots and too many turnovers, which created a hell of a lot of fast-break opportunities for New Jersey. I'd like to see Calderon start the 2nd half. Ford hasn't played that bad, but if they aren't going to respect our shot, then we need Calderon to facilitate quicker ball movement. TJ has the potential to be a "zone-buster" with his penetration, but he can also turn the ball over a lot and we can't take that chance. I also think Bosh needs to take it to the rim. He played well in his limited minutes, but he didn't drive once. Although he was really shooting well, we need to beat them down low to have a chance to win this game.
Vince got his 4th foul, so he should be done for the third quarter. He's got 7 points on 3-12 shooting.
78-65 New Jersey after the third quarter. Not looking too good right now, TJ is the only one that's making something happen right now.
Same BS with the Bulls and Heat series. I don't care what the "experts" are saying. Mind you these are the same "experts" that once said the Lakers will sweep Detroit in the NBA finals a few years ago. They've already lost all credability. Raptors in six games.
