Hahaha now all of these Phoenix fans on the ESPN Board are saying that we got lucky and that there is no way we can win another game. Last time I checked, LaMarcus didn't play anywhere near his best game, we shot the three ball only okay, and we still win.
We're just the underdogs to people who don't know what we've done all season. The people who've watched this team all season know that we own these teams.
I didn't see anything fluky about this game. The Blazers starters once again played better than the other teams starting 5. This has been happening the last 2 months. Not a huge +/- guy, but all of the starters for the Blazers are in the +, and all of Phoenix's starters are in the -. It's that clear.
I don't think so. We just match up well with them. How could they underestimate us when we had already won in Phoenix without B-Roy?
If Rudy is to continue to start he needs to make his presence felt which will make it easier for people like Miller. Aldridge did decent, but I would have liked him to have been more efficient. He had some pretty wide open jumpers. We can win this series!
I almost hopped on the forum when he missed that dunk to post, "...and in a silent tribute to his former Clipper teammates..." but I was too stressed to even type.
I haven't read this entire thread, but hopefully someone mentioned how well Nate coached tonight. Great adjustments and real timeliness with his TO's. The Suns never went on a huge run. It was a Popovich-like performance.
I'm not disputing that. I'm saying there's a chance that Phoenix believed the hype though. I think game 2 will be more difficult. If it isn't, Phoenix is even softer than I imagined.
Are you talking about Kevin Harlan & Doug Collins? I didn't get that impression at all, I was happy to hear they were going to do the broadcast, cause they're two of the best.
