I don't see how Larry Hughes is your favorite player, Cavsrules. Weird. The Wizards will put up a fight. No doubt. We lost by just five against you guys in early April without Gil or Caron. Watching the Cavs run their offense is like watching Nascar. They are the least efficent offensive team in the NBA, per posession. I can't wait for the game tommorow.

Cavsrule, here's a sig bet for game 1.

If Larry Hughes scores more than 15 pts I wear the sig of your choice through the series.

If Larry Hughes scores less, vice versa.

    you up for it?

He did everything great with Washington, also remember ever season his numbers went up[3 total season] and he has only played about 100 or so games out of 175[Thats playoffs too]<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Zards @ Apr 21 2007, 10:34 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I don't see how Larry Hughes is your favorite player, Cavsrules. So I followed Hughes his whole career and now he is here. Honestly shocked we got him, I was almost sure we would've came up with Redd in the off season we got Hughes. I was a Washington, always watched their games when Larry played. Had league pass to view it all.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (GArenas @ Apr 22 2007, 12:19 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Cavsrule, here's a sig bet for game 1.If Larry Hughes scores more than 15 pts I wear the sig of your choice through the series. If Larry Hughes scores less, vice versa.you up for it?</div>I'm down with that, hopefully Hughes doesn't have a streaky shoot today. Jamison is doing a good job, he's got the stroke going for him today. Eddie Jordan must be looking up at the sky and saying "thank you." Coach Thompson is right, Cleveland is really going about half-speed right now, they need to turn it on and make sure they get feel comfortable going into the second half.

Just tuned in to the game, and Cleveland is up 7. I'm excited to see how LeBron plays.Does he play like a flamboyant pansy, and shoot awkward jumpers all day?Or does he get gritty and use that massive frame of his down low? This could be key, even in the first round.

I think Cleveland thinks they're better than they actually are and are taking the Wizards for granted...Jamison is playing real good and along with the Wizards being aggressive..2 point gameCleveland really needs to play aggresive and stop being such lazy fucks..Lebron isn't helping either..I just don't understand it..Cleveland has talent..I mean for God's sake they have Lebron James..but I don't get why they can't beat a team with the 3rd option being the main scorer....

Well, Cleveland ended the 1st half on a buzzer beating 3 from Hughes, but they really have been disappointing. Their defense was pitiful, they were playing at half-speed, and like coach Thompson said - they weren't showing any enthusiasm or bringing any energy until that buzzer beater. They need to start playing hard, getting up-beat and excited, get the crowd going, and start buckling down defensively against this team. Their only legit scoring option is Antawn Jamison (who had an excellent first half), Cleveland needs to take advantage of that.

The reason Washington is only down 7 right now is that they are playing harder than Cleveland. Cleveland needs to correct that in the second half and they need to show some enthusiasm out there.

Antawn Jamison has played great, the Wizards are playing with heart and moving the ball around. Everyone has come out to play, we could have been down by 1 at the very end of the quarter but a three by Jarvis was missed and Hughes made so we're down by 7. We just gotta keep away from playing like we did in the first quarter and play like we did in the second. Don't settle for bad jumpshots. Also, Antawn has to really work on layups this summer.

Hughes has 12 I believe, it's looking like I'm gonna lose the sig bet.

Everybody with that name seems to have trouble finishing around the basket. [IMG] Antawn Jamison, Antoine Walker, and even Antoine Wright has trouble finishing. It's contagious.

I'm not sure if that was LeBron's ankle or knee, but it looked like his knee from the replay angle. I hope he's alright. He's definitely in pain right now.

EDIT: It was his ankle. OUCH!

Yeah, I was looking more at his knee during the replay, and it definitely hooked to the side a bit. Then I saw the second replay (better angle from the back), and it was clearly his knee. I know how that feels, it hurts like hell.
