Game:1 Washington Wizards @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Larry Hughes is a beast. If only he played like that all the time.

 

We're down by seven, yet again. We need to turn it up in the fourth, we keep hanging around and we don't take advantage of our opportunities. EJ needs to make the right substitutions here. This game is right there, anyone's game.

 

Wow Larry Hughes sucks. On like all his shots instead of shooting like a normal person at the top of his jump, he tries to hang in the air as long as possible and then throws it up as he's coming down. What a dumb ass.

 

It's amazing how Mason can save us on one possession and then kills us on another possession.

There were points in that game that I felt as though the Wizards could've taken control but they didn't and those few possesions lowered our momentum leading to a horrible ending. I assure everyone on these boards that this won't be a sweep with Caron coming back in game three. We got owned in game 1 last year as well.

What a dumb ass.</div>Yup, scoring 27 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals is very bad. They should just cut him, NBA should get rid of him. Washington wouldn't die, I honestly don't see us sweeping the Wizards because we overlook this team and at times during the game today we did and got sloppy and couldn't get stops. In the end, we came out and did the job and got it done. We need to feed Z more but he needs to get his garbage hook to work this time, he can get that all day. Good game, Cavaliers go up 1-0 next game Wednesday.

Something for Wizards fans to be hopeful about.

2004-2005: Sun 24 @ Chicago First Round L 94 - 103 0-1

Wizards would go on to win the series in 6.

2005-2006: Sat 22 @ Cleveland First Round L 86 - 97 0-1

Wizards would go on to lose series in 6 with every game coming right down to the final shot.

Probably only for last year.Well Cleveland dominated this game, but Washington didnt look too bad. With everyone writing them off, because they dont Caron and Arenas, I wouldnt be suprised if Washington pulled an upset in this series. Not saying it will happen, just saying watch out.

Cavs win....Larry hughes was really good...He was active on defense, he made his shots, he finished on fast breaks, got to the line...He got 27, which is a huge help for the Cavs...Lebron was alright, and drove the ball pretty well, but he wasn't as involved as he could have been...and he wasn't making shots.For the Wiz, Antawn Jamison had a really nice shooting night, but tried to force up shots late in the game in my opinion...I only caught about one quarter of the game. Those were my observations.

They got lucky because Antawn and Daniels had really nice games....but they suck offensively without Gil and Caron...They are gonna be done in 4 or 5 games...guarenteed. I don't know how you could call an upset. That just doesn't make any sense. This might be the easiest first round series for any team in the NBA...

 

I see this series going no longer than 5. The Wiz dont have their 2 best players, and even when they are fully healthy, Cleveland is a better team. This would be a very good series if they had Arenas and Butler, but they got very unfortunate towards the end of the season.
