It’s fucked up so far that bullshit flagrant 2 they called on Melo is being dominated in the national press coverage and not Dame’s big night

 

@Strenuus .....that is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Holy crap....I can't stop laughing. Where do these people come up with this stuff?

 

Stotts's equal opportunity bullshit offense has been figured out. Everyone knows that the Blazers really just want to get a shot for CJ, Dame or Nurk no matter how many flare screens they run off the ball.

The only time in the last few games our offense has looked good is when they have run the Dame/Nurk pick and roll. Makes me wonder why they don't just run it on literally every play possible.

 

I forgot flagrant 2 was an ejection, kept mistaking it for flagrant 1. Either way melo would of been ejected whether it was a technical or flagrant. I don’t think it was a flagrant 2, I would just call it a flagrant. I think it was pretty obvious on that same play melo got hit in the eye or something, that’s when he decided to drive to the hoop and get the call. The issue is, he tried too hard to make contact. He basically purposely collided with nurkic and ended up elbowing him in the face, I saw a flagrant when the replay was slowed down but not initially.

 

Melo literally went out of his way to draw contact with Nurk. He had a lane to the basket and didn't take it. Don't see the outrage with the refs. Look at the shot Melo ended up with. He wasn't even facing the basket.

 

What happen he lead with his elbow was it on purpose I wouldn't really no.

 

It wasn't a natural basketball motion. He had the easy layup but purposefully swung his elbow into Nurkic's face. He ended up letting go off the ball not even facing the basketball.

 

He wasn’t acting.

 

The shot was a total afterthought. He went out of his way to elbow Nurk in the face. It was a dominance move meant to get under our skin, and without Nurk selling the hit like it was Monday Night RAW, it might have worked; the ref originally called a blocking foul.

 

Reminded me of Blazers/Seattle in the early 90’s... really amped up!

 

It felt like something that was brewing. Thunder we're getting frustrated, bitching about calls, and Nurk was locking the paint up.

Yep exactly. We were playing really physical with them and there was that play with Westbrook when he got the rebound and was hand-checked in the Nurk’s by Vonleh and Nurk. I think that fueled the hit on Nurk.

 

I also need to say that one RIDICULOUS Dame layup/circus shot was officially the most difficult shot I’ve ever seen a basketball player make. That made my jaw drop.

 

I never thought I would say this, but can we get Lil Wayne to come to every home game?

 

It was a terrible call and you dumb blazers fans need to realize that...

 

You realize you said we had no chance right? It's different to say we have a very small chance to win. You basically said we have no chance in hell at winning this game.

You also said you'd be happy if we lost by less than 10... And now after we win, you're complaining???

Sometimes I wonder if people don't truly understand what "no chance" actually means.
