Hey, you gotta give it to Stotts though. He didn't play Henderson in the 2nd half after that atrocious first half.

Once again horrible officiating. Our team lost the game themselves though - but I feel the Stotts method is not putting the players in a position to win.

The two main discrepancies are that the discipline is shockingly bad on this team, and the very in-efficient schemes run on both sides of the ball.

Discipline: Terrible fundamentals - bad spacing/playing off of each other/screening & bad positioning (defensively & rebounding); which leads to being out-rebounded on plays where we should have the ball, and, also an easy route to the hoop for opposing guards.
Lack of discipline - This stems from our 'Leader' who continues to force absurd long threes early in the clock - and that lack of discipline/efficiency sets the tone. It can be seen in various players' shot selection.

Efficiency: Defensive switching is poor, but main gripe is our offensive set-up at the top of the key. It is absolutely amateurish to watch our players try to shed defenders with picks/screens. EVERY other team makes us pale in comparison when we play them.
That's on the coaching staff. They are not enforcing discipline on setting screens, and, frankly, their offensive initiation is juvenile at best.
Lot's of pretty movement - not very good shooting opportunities.

No no, I'd really hate that. Thanks for the offer though. But do keep talking about how Lillard isn't really a leader. Let's get your opinion on that in the open.

OK, I've calmed down after that display on court - Obviously rant inducing.
    /rant

Just frustrated with the Stotts method at the moment.

ETA: I think Lilllard is a top notch leader, overall, on and off the court. I just think he's not setting the best example at the moment with his shot selection. It's lazy.

What's wrong with saying that Lillard isn't the Harlem Globetrotter 50-foot shooter he thinks he is?

With the way things are going every one of our ex-players is going to come in here and kick our ass. Imagine Rolo going for 20 rebounds/20 points and pushing Plumlee around. And Wes has the date marked on the calender I am sure. We're going to be that guy in a small town with a nice car and too many ex's....

It's putting sarcastic quotes around Leader to describe Dame because he takes shots he has a green light to take.

There are enough insane people on the board for me not to know when a person is ranting or when they actually believe Jet Fuel Can't Melt Steel Beams.

It was meant to imply - Forcing threes from 24 feet, without initiating the offense = 'That's not what Good Leaders do'.

Your intent was obvious to me, but not to those who interpret every word literally and call everyone else insane.

I am a very literal person, because words have meaning and I respect them. There are a lot of people in the world surprisingly bad at using words; I need to get used to that.
