    Sure I would, but I'm sure Gallo would have higher trade value than that.

    Did a quick search of 6'9" forwards with 38%+ 3p shooting over the past few years, and see several good names on there--most on quality West teams that probably wouldn't be willing to part with them to help us. Luke Babbitt would be good for us in that backup 4 role. I wonder how married the Hornets are to Marvin Williams, considering his poor performance so far this year. Would he be worth a gamble?

    How much higher could Gallo’s value be than that? He’s making $20m a season. Mirotic makes almost half that and Leonard/Harkless are much better “assets” than Omer Asik and Jameer Nelson were.

    Btw in this theoretical world where we trade Meyers and Moe for Gallinari, Clippers probably buy out Gortat. He’d be a nice candidate to fill the last roster spot. Bang baaang.

    Mirotic was expected to be a UFA that summer, and was definitely not staying in Chicago. Bulls had zero leverage, and wasn't willing to take any long-term salary back. I doubt the Clippers would have anywhere close to the same restraints on a potential Gallo deal at the deadline, so they'd likely get much better value because they have more options available.

    That said, if they were even slightly interested in Moe/Meyers/pick(s?) for him, I'd jump on that in a heartbeat.

    Chicago still took on that Asik contract, which they’re going to be paying for the next four years. And Mirotic had a team option, so the Bulls had some leverage. And again, $22m isn’t easy to match, especially since almost no one has money. A late first is a good get for Gallinari imo. I don’t know what more they could realistically expect?

    TCOB game. Nothing spectacular - but winning a game they should win against a team that was better than I would have guessed a few weeks ago.
