    Association Football never seems to progress much here, every time it looks to be improving, it shoots itself in the foot. It's always self inflicted though. Earlier this year a disagreement between Football Federation Australia, and FIFA over the composition of the FFA board, saw Australia 24 hours away from being banned from all international competitions. The FFA caved in the end.
