The only way Stotts leaves if we have a down season. But can trust Olshey enough to pick the right coach.

    * I guess playing teams like Minny and Toronto and the Kings isn't the same as playing a team like Indiana. And, there was no question at all tonight which team played with the higher BBIQ

    * Those two Pacer bigs, Sabonis and Turner can actually put the ball on the floor and break down a defense. Turner leads the NBA in blocks. And they can both switch and defend the perimeter. What an incredible luxury

    * SKS...Simons kinda sucks. "he's so young though"

    * I've heard a lot about how everything is coming easy for CJ and everything is coming hard for Dame. Tonight's game showed a big reason why that is. CJ was single covered most of the game. He didn't have defenders running to help the man guarding him. Driving lanes were open. The pacers were focused on Dame, just about every time he got by his man there was another Pacer right there; and sometimes there were two. For sure Dame needs to improve some of his shot selection and recognize where the crowd is. But that remedial weave Portland runs doesn't open up passing lanes when Dame is squeezed. This is on Stotts and Olshey

    * TJ McConnell shows the value of having an actual backup PG

They have two centers on the roster, and one of them is more of a power forward. They’ll need another body. My guess is they’ll sign some young guy on a two way.

The problem isn’t even Nurk. He’ll probably be back in a month. The problem is now Stotts is gonna have to actually coach instead of relying on individual talent to save him. He’s gonna have to make adjustments because Kanter is a different type of offensive player than Nurk. Defensively he’s a liability so....good luck coach.

3rd game in 4 nights for both teams so that much is pretty much a wash except that Portland was at home. Meanwhile, the Pacers were without a good chunk of their roster after the blockbuster trade.

    • The difference in defense is light years apart.
    • The difference in ball movement is light years apart.
    • Not surprisingly, the score was light years apart for most of the game.

Very sad about Nurk, but that wasn't the reason they got trounced.

Rocco is still our best defender, but overall the team under stotts worse coach ever.

im so sick of twitter “ pray for nurk” please number 1 fragile like zach both need to be gone by next year. Nurkic was terrible in the bubble and has been way inconsistent this year especially his defense gotten so bad that you wonder is that kanter? But kanter is a rebounding machine who with less minutes gets more RB especially offensive glass. We made it to WCF finals with kanter. This team is all about Dame and CJ both have to score above 25 a game for us to win games because ANT and hood do not look like nba back ups. And trent Jr is either God mode or total bust.

I’m with you I don’t give a shit of Nurkic misses games I’m not a big fan. He’s soft around the rim, goes up weak, never dunks, I hope he gets better but he’s an injury prone and inconsistent

And really, if you count blowing a 20 point lead to the bulls, we have allowed a 20 point swing in 4 out of the last 6 games.

I can’t wait to rebuild one day. I miss finding gems and having that optimism for the future. This team, coach Etc etc is getting so played out

That’s why I been saying the worst thing to happen is us winning these past games in a way. This team at best around a .500 team.

Only 3 teams are top 10 in offensive and defensive rating right now: Lakers, Bucks and Pacers.

Indiana has a first year coach. But, but who are we gonna hire if we fire Stotts???

Hopefully this opens up more minutes for Melo.

Literally any goof could do what Terry Stotts does. We have no offense. It’s just “give the ball to dame and let him create” or “give the ball to CJ and let him create” or my personal favorite “give the ball to Melo and let him create.” There is zero creativity.

Can Zach, Hood, and Simons get us LA? Maybe it’s time.
