I don't even get worked up on reviews anymore. You know it will go against the Rangers, and you move on. It is an embarrassment for the refs they took 6 minutes to say the puck was frozen, if that was the case why take 6 minutes to review it, but at days end no surprise at all it was ruled no goal. I'd don't even give it a second thought, especially when they take a long time.
I am the last person who believes in conspiracy theories, but I agree with this 100%. The Rangers never win a review. The system in the NHL is a joke and favors the small % of cheap owners who don't want to spend money. The sport is broken financially, and once again why it is by far the 4th sport in America. Sad because it is a great game. And Bettman hangs in because he pounds the players into submission, and makes money for the % of cheap owners.
Wtf vallequette!!! We didn’t see it??? it was in on the first shot and we saw the video!! does he not see what. We saw?
Most of the team has stunk in this game except for a few players. Chytil can't come back soon enough so I don't have to see Bonino centering the third line.
Laf has finally figured it out. Thank god. Might be a good time to move Kakko for a top right winger because the first line stinks.
I don't know that I'd say he's figured it out after 12g, but he's off to a nice start. Helps that he's playing with Panarin/Troch now but he's doing his part as well.
The thing with Lafreniere is you see the skill level that made him the # 1 overall pick. That move and backhand in the SO was awesome, and something most people cannot do. Skating has always been the big standout skill question mark for Laf, if he can continue to improve there, but also use his high hockey IQ and other skills to offset that a bit, he has stud potential, and we are seeing good things. If only Kakko would wake up as well, dude is just about invisible these days. I'd say when Chytil returns you leave Trocheck where he is, and put Chytil with Cully and Kakko, maybe that will be good for Kakko. Also hope Igor is back for the next game Saturday at NJ, he should be. And I guess we'll see on Chytil and Lindgren. Lindgren would be a big loss at NJ, it makes going 6 for 6 points wise in these 3 home games even bigger. The Rangers have a tough upcoming schedule after the week off. At NJ, at Dallas, at Pitt, at Philly, home Boston. Outside of the game in Philly, those are all very good teams (Pitt isn't very good, but they are hot and always dangerous with Sid, Malkin, Letang, Karl). Getting the injuries out of the way early this season.
So sick and tired of this corrupt, anti NY bullshit in the review booth. The cheap shots that never result in a suspension. Same shit every year from this mickey mouse run league.
