What makes him a "small forward"?

I know this question wasn't directed at me, but I guess that would depend on how you define a small forward. In general, I think it's a player with size between 6'6"-6'10", 200-230 pounds range with athleticism to defend 1-4 as needed, the ability to hit open 3s and dribble well enough to drive to the rim and handle the ball in emergencies. It's kind of an awkward position that asks a lot of a player. Moe is pretty close to my personal definition. He falls down a bit on shooting and ball handling for sure. I think Turner is a borderline SF.

I think he has legit small-forward size/length and he can defend opposing SF's decently. His offense is a bit lacking, though.

“Overall, we’ve gone from 18 to 14 timeouts. We’ve reduced the amounts of timeouts by four in the last two minutes.”

All team timeouts will be 75 seconds. In the previous format, “full” timeouts were 90 seconds and “20-second” timeouts were 60 seconds. Both “full” and “20-second” timeouts have been replaced by team timeouts.

No more "make a basket, call a time out, inbound at half court" dance anymore. The last 2 minutes of close games are like watching a whole new sport.

Wow. I had not noticed til you brought it up. But now that you mention it, at the Knicks Jazz game I was at tonight didn't have any stalling at the end even though it was a close game. And tonight's Blazers Magic ended pretty quickly. How are TV timeouts worked in though?

    • All four periods will have two mandatory timeouts, which will take place after the first stoppage under the seven- and three-minute marks.

If I understand correctly, the difference here is that these stoppages don't count against the team's total timeouts.

    More interesting limitations:

    • The under-nine-minute mandatory timeouts in the second and fourth periods will be eliminated.

    • Each team can enter the fourth period with up to four team timeouts.

    • Each team will be limited to two team timeouts after the later of (i) the three-minute mark of the fourth period or (ii) the resumption of play after the second mandatory timeout of the fourth period.

    • Each team will have two team timeouts per overtime period; previously teams had three.

Dude what are u talking about? Is what I’m saying not backed by stats?

Damn all I’m saying is Lillard offensively isn’t good this year. Now if I’m wrong his numbers would reflect that. But I’m not. His percentages are his worse ever..

Good thing is we won today and I hope for the best
