Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I get it fun to blame everything on one person, but at least make sure what you're saying with confidence can't be proven wrong.

Simons made that one dunk switching to his left hand look easy in traffic. That was an incredible shot. Also loved the hook in the lane. He was dialed in from deep.

I sure couldn’t name anyone. It’s insane to have lost that game. Especially knowing we have big road trip ahead.

Those are the types of performances I want to see. With all the injuries, play the heck out of Ant, Trent, Giles, Little and DJJ. Develop them as much as you can so they can contribute when it matters.

It’s actually good we lost. We need to blow this team up. No need to keep fighting the inevitable

I actually would love to rest Dame and let him enjoy his babies. Let the young guys play and call it a season

So resting Hood when he's hurt is unacceptable, but resting Dame when he's healthy is fine? That's some wild logic.

    well, that was....discouraging

    * since I've been a Simons skeptic I'll say that I was more impressed with him tonight than in any game since that Sac. game 82 in his rookie season...and that game was a fluke. Obviously he isn't going to shoot like this every game but he was moving around with control tonight. But...he's not in any way a PG; or at least he hasn't demonstrated those skills yet. That's why Dame had to play 39 minutes in the 2nd of a B2B

    * Kanter's effort chasing rebounds is amazing. He has flaws but the things he does do well, he does very very well

    * Dame had 10 assists tonight. The other 7 players only had 7 assists, and Kanter had 3 of those, and Giles had 2 of the remaining 4. That's 17 assists on 46 FG's and that is terrible. That lack of play-making from all the perimeter players except the starting PG is a major handicap. Melo-Jones-Trent-Sinons-Little combined for 154 minutes and 2 assists. I take it back...that's not terrible, that's pathetic, and it's a losing style of basketball

    * how weird is this season? Portland is 5th seed, 4 games out of first. But they are only 3.5 games out of 14th seed

a post like that is a nerd-challenge to me

so then, I calculated 100K in quarters, converted to grams, then converted to pounds. 100K in quarters is 5000 pounds of pocket change; 2.5 tons. Even a guy as big as Barkley might have trouble packing that around in his pocket

And now that you have taken the first step and acknowledged this, the rest of the season should be a breeze. No need to get all upset right? No reason to believe we have a chance to win many games.

At what point do WE become the garbage team and not be expected to win every night?
