That wasn't even hindsight - it was, at best, wishful thinking. But mostly it was just fucking dumb.

 

Did portland even score any fast break points?
The two or three attempts that I remember them having were butchered by atrocious spacing and poor decision making.

 

Never looked at the box score tonight, but I remember Ed blocking an Embid shot, then ET pushed the ball to Bazz who swung it to Dame for a corner 3.

 

How many open layups Nurkic have missed this Season. Shit sometimes a Bad g-league is player better than him. Hope he never get a max

 

I thought Vonleh did the best job on Simmons, I don't know why Stotts didn't use him more. Dame played hard, Baz played well, as did Vonleh, Nurk was OK in the second half; everyone else was terrible. Baz should have gotten some of CJ's minutes, CJ had a mare. Philly seemed to get away with a lot of moving screens. Philly played way better than us as a team, they're clearly buying what Brett Brown is selling. We don't seem to be listening to Stotts, or playing as a team; we're a bunch of individuals. I don't mind Stotts, it's not as though I don't have my criticisms, it's just that I don't think there's a great number of NBA coaches who are better. That said, I'd rather have Brett Brown; but I'm biased because of his time Down Under, he's an adopted Australian.

To play Stotts you must have shooters and our problem is we don't have them.

 

Not surprised. Philly is good and they were hyped. The key is how we respond.
