    Interesting game to me.

Will Price play, I say yes because if he was really hurt he never stays in game 1. The bigger question is will he be close to 100% and fully on his game.

Will the Habs come out on fire after their sh*t performance in game 1.

Will the Habs treat Hank and/or Kreider any differently after the game 1 Price hit?

Should be a fun game. Huge game for them.

To me we need to win 2 of the next 3 games. That needs to happen here. Let's take it to them and worst case take 2 of 3, and maybe not make our lives as difficult as possible per the norm.

We need to be up 3-1 next week at this time. Make it happen.

It's times like this you'd like to have Big Mac on the back end. If he was playing running Lundy wouldnt even cross the minds of Montreal. I hope this kid puts it together this offseason and can make the roster next year.

Sounds like Brassard out tonight, which I guess is expected with 2 days off prior to game 3. I would play Carcillo and Dorsett just in case.

It's funny how everybody up there went from saying there was nothing Kreider could do to it being a reckless play. Meanwhile the late hit on Brassard was a good hockey play. Can't stand anything about that ridiculous team or city.

i fully agree with this, but when it comes to what they're saying now, it is exactly what AV/NYR would be doing if Hank was going to miss the rest of the series. At the very least, it's what we would expect AV/NYR to be doing to get the team to rally. You cannot lose your goalie in the ECF's and just brush it off as bad luck. "hey, shit happens" isn't going to do it. They have to try to play this as a motivator and makes us look like the bad guy.

Yes, but be upset about it right from the start. Now it just comes across as crying. After looking at the replay 100 times from four different angles I now think it was a reckless play.

i don't think at the time of the initial comments they thought he was injured, especially to the extent that he's going to miss the entire series. Once you get those type of news, you have to change your tune.

Wasn't AV quoted complaining about the schedule then soon after (or maybe it was before) he was saying how it wasn't a factor?

I'm sure the fans will not only be booing Kreider but throwing shit at him tonight as well.

Yes, start even bigger than usual. We get a good start and the first goal, and we don't have to worry about playing in Montreal again...LOL.

I think I saw Gross say that Tokarski might start tonight instead of Budaj

The dreaded goalie nobody has heard of.....

Yeah, that is why I hope they play Budaj. At least give him a try tonight.

Either way we better pepper their goalie tonight. No fancy stuff.

I don't care who they play. This is Lindqvists year. Win the next 3 games, fuck Montreal and Fuk Price. Move on and hope that LA and Chicago have a tough series

Yup, three wins to go to the finals. I'm sorry the guy got hurt as I never like to see injuries. That being said the games much go on. Nobody was crying for the Rangers when they were missing key guys.

no worried we will just instruct Kreider to run the goalie on a breakaway, fuck scoring or anything like that, just take the goalie out..you know the guy with the most pads...

btw...as much as you want to say Kreider was wreckless...Price should have jumped over Krieder lmfao

Sounds like the Habs may want to turn tonight into a bloodbath. Looks like Brass is out and Carcillo is in. I hope Kreider's hand is completely healed. Will Nash be in his 2nd fight as a ranger sticking up for Kreid's. Going to be an interesting 1st 10 minutes.

My own opinion is Montreal wins tonight. They will play their A++ game I think. This is their night. With an injury like Price's, sometimes it can give you a bump for one game, especially at home, and I think that happens tonight.

I then think they come back down to earth and I expect us to win the next two home games.

That's my take. If we win tonight great shot we sweep, and I just don't see that, so I expect a Canadiens win tonight, and then we come back very strong at home, which will be tougher on the Habs and the young backup anyway.

    We'll see...

All I ask is we play hard and act as if we need to win this game tonight. Basically do the exact opposite of what we usually do with a game lead in the playoffs...LOL.

My opinion is we win tonight and go home up 2-0. As a Fan, I expect the Rangers to win every game and I never think ahead. It's game 2 and game 2 only. I fully expect the Habs to play out of control to get back at Kreider. Right or wrong. Only Kreider knows what he was or wasn't trying to do. Kreider can handle himself and will have to at some point in this game. Just hope that hand is ok. Thabs are focused on retaliation. The Rangers are focused on winning Game 2 and they will.

I don't think Mtl will go overboard trying to get back at anyone, but they will probably up the intensity, so perhaps we can get on the board first and go from there. I wouldn't be surprised if Tokarski plays well and it takes a game to get used to his tendencies. They always do that to a rookie in the playoffs.
