I don't get the "Oh they're tired" excuses. Were they tired the previous frickin 13 games they failed to extend a series lead to more than one game?! It's what they do, and it's incredibly frustrating. If they could solve that problem, then let's talk about a legit shot at the Cup.
Just got home from my brothers house. Being superstitious can't watch anymore games there.LOL. IMO Hank played one of the best games I ever saw him play and a shame that the rangers couldn't score to cash in and another goal deflected past him by a defenseman this time girardi. Girardi was awful tonight and one of the worst players on the ice in offensive and defensive zones. McD gets the benefit of the doubt as there is no doubt in my mind that he will be having some kind of shoulder surgery immediately after season. The weakness there is obvious as people go by him now left and right and he looks like the flag man on a caboose. Don't need both dorsett and carcillo in this series so my choice is take the bigger liability out (dorsett) who is a dumb penalty waiting too happen and put carcillo on the 4th line and put miller in there till kreider is ready. Our PP is a disaster and the shame of it is is the pens are taking one bad penalty after another and we're not making them pay for it. Would be nice to see AV take some initiative and break up the dynamic Nash-Stepan duo (extreme sarcasm) maybe swap stepan and richards as it can't be any worse. Pittsburgh is not a big physical team and to be outhit and outmuscled like we were tonight was hard to stomach. I figure the garden crowd should give us some energy tmo night and I look for a big effort to take a 2-1 lead.

Exactly sorr. I said the same thing earlier in the thread. Enough with the oh we are so tired crap. Were we tired when we played the same exact game as last night in games 4 & 6 at Philly? And even if we were tired is crying about it going to get us anywhere? Man up...these are the playoffs. When we fell apart against the Devs two years ago that was after 17 games, and a crazy long game 3 at the Caps making it close to 18 games. This was game 9. AND we balance out the minutes much more than we did two years ago. We aren't blocking shots and running players into the ground. Tonight is the night. If we play like shit again and they own us in our building we have big issues. Until we see that happen, which I do NOT expect, I will simply call this typical Rangers as for the 13th straight time we get beat with a series lead. That is an insane #, and when you realize we haven't won with a series lead since 2009...just wow. I for one am happy we are playing tonight. Advantage us with the crazy home crowd behind us. I think tonights game is VERY important, and I fully expect us to play well after that shit effort last night. If we don't, then I'll be concerned we have issues. And BTW...we need to get this PP going. Even 1 PPG tonight would be huge.
