This is what CJ needs to improve. Get to the line like Dame if shots are not falling.

Dame might have an off shooting game, but he knows how to get to the line to contribute in another way

I know you're saying this un-ironically, but it's kind of sad how keeping a team under 70 at half is actually an accomplishment for this team at times.

Now we know why these are the 2 worst defense team in league and that quarter they both leave up to it too. But good close out quarter.

The Blazers can really score if no one is guarding them. Look at that 75 points in the half

Right. When you have a second string center that you don't trust to play more than 6 minutes a half, you don't want three fouls on your first string center.

nah, i have that dude on ignore. but dame was bad until late in the 2nd. settling for awful shots and hardly running back on d. needs to step up his game if we want a chance of winning, cuz this might be out last shot to do so on this trip.

Does anyone actually enjoy watching the blazers? My excitement pretty much limited to seeing young guys maybe develop and watching Dame and Nurk. Without Nurk the team is so boring. Stotts era has grown stale.

I think I might have been wrong about Elleby. After watching him at Washington State, I thought the one thing we could count on was his self-confidence and no-fear style of play. Looks as if he has lost that.

I agree he wasn't playing that well, and certainly wasn't shooting that well

but ask yourself when it was the last time you saw Portland running offense for Dame off the ball...with the intent to get Dame into a shooting opportunity that did not require him to have the ball in the first place. Maybe if he didn't have to work so damn hard on offense to not only run the team offense, but create his own shots he wouldn't float at times on defense or in transition

He just got in this game and had Westbrook walk right throw him for a layup and one....welcome to the league rook! The game has not slowed down for this kid yet but he seems like he'll figure it out...I'm just glad coach gave him a shot to play defense against an allstar for the wake up call...he pulled him quickly enough
