Sometimes it’s more difficult when there’s a last minute change or you’re playing a team without their top player. It’s harder to scheme against those situations because there isn’t always time or a large enough sample to go off of. So a lot of times it just turns into pickup basketball.

This has actually been my biggest issue with CJ this year.
Last year I don't remember him being ice cold for 3 out of 4 quarters.
I remember him getting hot, and being streaky. Then coming back to earth but still hitting shots throughout the game.
This year CJ is ice cold for 3 out of 4 quarters. In one of the 4 quarters he hits a streak where he makes 4-5 jumpers in a row and it makes his shooting % respectable.

Idk. Id attach extra picks to his contract for a team looking to rebuild. If you said we could do something like Turner, Meyers and 2 Future 1sts for Gallinari, I'd say you have to do it.

Which one? Beal got open shot after open shot against him. We got extremely lucky that Beal missed shots he always makes.

Man, some of you on here are straight wack-jobs. This thread just encapsulates (I googled that word, for real) this place. How can you just BLAST and throw shade so hard on players of your favorite team like this? Not just scrubs, but your GOD DAMN STARS!
The same exact guys who without them, you lose the GOD DAMN GAME! You’d think after all my years on here, I get used to this and it just blows me away. Who gives a fuck about CJs shot selection. If he gets it done, oh well. Who the fuck else you want shooting, Turner? The fuck outta here with all that.
You shouldn’t be allowed to be happy about a comeback like this when you treat the guys that way.

And I’M the one that gets blasted when I make a low win total prediction? At least I support our guys in good times and bad. Shitty games and good ones. Fuckin’ nutjobs, half of you. And you’re the ones who probably thought this squad would get home court advantage in the playoffs!

Anyway, congrats to our guys. Happy Birthday Coach Stotts! #RipCity

I think Aminu will struggle with his shooting at first after coming back after the injury. I would keep Pat as the starter until Aminu has a good game.

I tell you what, when I saw Pat out there in crunch time, I yelled out loud on headsets said I was surprised. That means coach really trusts him right now.

I wouldn’t. At least not with any first rounders attached. Those are valuable. We could probably get Gallinari without one but I don’t know if trading for an injury prone player pushing 30 is a smart idea.

I could say something about Lillard too.
Getting real tired of watching after an offensive rebound him jack a three.
I understand it's a good shot because the defense isn't set and their on their heels.
I just think someone as good as Lillard is, is letting them off the hook in that situation.
Plus I don't care who the players is. I've never liked watching a three get jacked after you big got you the offensive rebound. I don't care who the player is.
Granted that's on the big too. Go back up with it you scrub.

Who would have thought that tonight's game featured two division leaders. I just did a double take looking at the standings. As of this very moment the Wiz and the Blazers are currently both all alone in first place in their respective divisions.

You always say you support the team unconditionally, but then you add little details like that that make it sound like you only support part of the team. Just like calling them lacking in talent outside the big 3. You think that makes the rest of the squad feel supported?

You could see that the Bullets are more athletic than us. That's the last time we will beat them for awhile.
