I like Nik cutting. Seth has been a 50% 3pt shooter this season. If Nik can continue cutting into the teeth of the defense, then he might be able to start collapsing it and getting Curry open 3s. I like them playing off each other.

Sounds silly and obvious but it really just comes down to making shots for this team. Dame and CJ can create their own shots and our offense gets us good shots. When we are making them we are hard to beat unless we are horrible on defense.

I wish they'd play fundamental P&R defense as well.
However Morris showed Portland can't do that when he destroyed Portland in Portland.

Pick the ball up higher, or give up that 15 ft jumper to Harris/Gallo against CJ/Lillard.

Going to go watch the game now.

It comes down to getting good shots. Dame and CJ can get a shot off pretty much any time, but if they're tough shots and they're not playing great, and the offense isn't producing anything else due to the way it's being ran, then we get crushed. If Dame and CJ got better shots, and the offensive produced better shots for everyone as a whole, then we'd be better.

Why do NBA players not find a body on rebounds? 4 Blazers literally stood and watched the ball bounce over their head. Find your man...

That's why you shade so you can get an angle under to cut off the ball handler, or reject the pick. Means the big doesn't have to help much, and can get back to the popping big man.

You're helping on the ball handler...you're putting 2 on the ball in that situation even if it''s only for a second.

That's all on offense needs to get you into rotation.

Would the Blazers be bad, if the played Gary Trent Jr, with the second unit instead of ET? I think Curry could run the offense, but Trent would be a much better weapon for shooting the ball.

Not at all. Not at all. I'm not talking about shading on the ball. The big sags and shades against SGA to provide a safety net if the guard can't cut off the ball. The guard should be able to stay in front of the ball and recover quick enough to allow the big man to stay attached to the screener enough to not allow the big to get an open shot.
