That's the result of Crabbe having himself a game.

All I'm saying is Hendo get less minutes and we win. But that's just a coincidence right ? Right ?

Btw, tonight was not proper tanking !

He didn't go down with a knee injury though. Two totally different things. And Paul George doesn't have 'glass knees'.

At first I was thinking of Wes as well, especially from 3 pt range. But the rest of his game is closer to Klay's IMO. Especially his midrange game, and just the way he moves. Wes was/is very effective at what he does, but he does not look fluid doing it.
Wes to me always looks like a "bull in a china store".

Nice feel good win, but a poor "gameplan" from Stotts.

-It's been several games now that we have the same 5 starting very slow. Why the same starting 5?
-With PG and Ellis down you'd expect the Blazers to make something a bit more aggressive than attempting a million 3s and praying for the best.

-Who was supposed to stop those Miles shots again? Mayers?

So yea, that style of play will win you some games, but i'm not so sure it's the right way to play.

Like a super duper poor version of Klay. Despite shooting 49/44/89 on the season, Allen is mostly just a good pull up midrange jumpshooter. He doesn't take nearly the same volume of threes as someone like Klay, Matthews, or even CJ. He's currently shooting 4.2 threes per 36 minutes, which is actually a career low. Don't think he can sustain a high volume either. From the eye test he's money when he's open but pretty bricky when he's defended.

He is often covered pretty well when he shoots his pull midrange j, and still makes them. You are probably right about taking contested 3's though. That is a skill level only a few are good at. But then again I don't really want to see anyone taking a 3 if they are not open. Except at the end of a game.

I was thinking Tracy Murray on crack. And that's not a bad thing.

UPDATE: He passed Kevin Durant in ORtg, now stands at 3rd, as well as 3rd in Offensive Rebound Percentage.

    He's the ULTIMATE garbage man.

Answer: Because we're not actively trying to win games through gameplanning or coaching. If the players win, great. But the FO and coaching staff would rather see Vonleh play than play Meyers more minutes right now.

I think it's more that Meyers was injured and they're easing him back in. Meyers also seems to play better with Davis. Makes sense, put him next to a dominant rebounding, but more limited offensive player.

Honestly, I would rather start Meyers and Davis. Plumlee is great, but Vonleh could probably do a bit more playing against other bench players, or not. He's not particularly doing anything starting and is playing around the same minutes as he was coming off the bench.

Good points. Meyers isn't a liability if Davis is getting EVERY offensive rebounds EVER. And on defense, he's a decent defensive rebounder. He and Davis are more naturally a pair than Plums and Leonard (who both work better on defensive rebounds).

I think Meyers is just an average rebounder. If he's in there as the only big he can put up more numbers, but when I see him with Davis it's just like he defers all the easy rebounds to Ed. Sometimes that can be a bad thing though, it seems like he just assumes Ed is going to grab everything so he doesn't even try sometimes.

Meyers isn't prioritizing rebounds, but when he's playing C, he's good.

I don't know how happy Plums would be off the bench... maybe we should start Crabbe and Dame, bench Aminu, CJ, and Vonleh, and start a frontline of Meyers at SF, Davis at PF, and Plums at C.
