They are doing well with the M*A*S*H* unit they are rolling out there....but they are still massively depleted. They just played harder and smarter with a lot less talent. Sadly, that is who this Blazer team is. Even on the few nights they have a talent advantage, they either don't play hard, make silly/dumb mistakes or make no defensive adjustments what so ever.

Yep they deserved to lose this. Absolutely pathetic game. Too many wasted possessions where they could have buried them and they let them hang around with players taking shots that they should not be taking.

Meh. I saw our guys playing plenty hard. we were up double digits with 5 mins left. even with Gasol going off, everyone else was being held in check. Hell, thy were shooting in the low 30s most of the night.

Late game execution cost us tonight and guys clearly looked worn out. Memphis on the tailend of a b2b is fucking brutal. 48 mins of bumping, fighting, etc.

 

Bottom line is this team is trash

 

and every night one team loses....we lost on their turf after a tough loss a few hours earlier ...it happens in pro sports...

The back-to-back argument would hold more water if you didn't have Aminu firing a 3 and Plumlee shooting a foul-line jumper early in the shot clock with the lead in the final five minutes. Unless you are saying they were mentally exhausted. Those were just dumb plays.

It's obvious we have less of a chance to win the championship this year than to win it, so you're just going to roll with the "Blazers suck" position because it's an easy one to troll people with and rub it in their faces when we lose. When we were winning in the first half and outplaying them, you were nowhere to be seen. Then we start playing worse and losing the lead and you can't stop shitposting. It happens to us too often this season for my liking. I can take the occasional hiccup or off night. That's what I chalked last night up to essentially. Tonight we were not mentally engaged on the floor or on the bench. I can't just accept that kind of effort.
