Funny thing is they have had 4 pretty good blowout type wins this year. More than usual.

Oh sorry, I meant my post my was sarcasm, not literal green font, virtual green font. I meant that Melo is “probably” better than Mario (not clearly better so he’s not good) and that he shoots more than Mario (at a poor efficiency so not a good thing) and that he keeps our young players fresh ( ie he keeps our young players minutes down which hurts their development).

Maybe, although it seems to be a constant theme this year. Not much of a home-court advantage. The Knicks announcers kept talking about it all game - how the atmosphere was so quiet and how it use to be one of the great atmospheres in the NBA.

A large part of that is due to the style of play of Portland. A lot of isolation, dribbling, step-back jumpers. Not enough player movement, passing, transition running.... Leads to a boring game leaving little to cheer about.

I've found that historically crowds gets loud when their team builds a thirty point lead regardless of style of play.

I've always thought different. 30 point lead is boring for the most part. Even more so against the Knicks. If that was the Lakers the crown would have been hoppin. Not only that but there would not have been an empty seat.

What are you talking about? There would have been empty seats. All those bandwagon sheep of lakers fans would have been gone with nothing to show but regret and a severe lack of leadership qualities.
