Rapid knee jerk reactions 3 games into a season almost always do.

We won in spite of the coach. Tolliver just destroying this team everytime he's in. It's not his fault. He was supposed to be a presence in the locker room. It's the coach's fault for playing him so much when Skal is waiting right there. Stotts screws us again by putting in Mario instead of Skal when Hassan fouled out. Such brain farts by Stotts.

Tolliver played 3 minutes. Stotts saw what we saw and he didn't touch the floor again. And Mario played well after Hassan went out. Not going to tell you what to do, but looking for negative things in any situation just to be able to bash Stotts isn't a good look.

You sound like an apologist trying to reduce the giant hole the Blazers had to come back from due to the Stotts' under incompetence. 3 minutes? Trying 3 games, buddy. Mario was alright and we're lucky we came out fine but Skal would have been the right move no question. Porzingis is a weak rebounder. We totally took that away by expecting Mario to body him. You only go small if the guy you're bringing in can stretch the floor. Mario can't. Not yet.

Your excuses are not a good look.

Until tonight's action, Tolliver had played small minutes in only 2 games. That's not a large enough sample size to just completely scratch his name off the team, especially if he is better in practice. You have to play your guys at the beginning of the season and see who fits. Given the fact that Tolliver didn't sniff the floor in the 2nd half, I'm pretty sure Terry didn't like what he saw.

I'm not an apologist and will voice my concerns anytime there is a legit coaching issue. Terry isn't perfect. He coached well tonight though and your hatred won't allow you to see it.

concerning number, CJ did play 41 minutes, i know he was hot, but the number has to reduce, i dont like playing him and Dame that many minutes so early in the Season. Role players have to step up

So Tolliver is the logical choice.

Certainly used it at the right time in that game. I'm certain there will be a game when he uses it and a better time could come up.

I was a fan of the signing but man, Tolliver is never the logical choice. He looks absolutely cooked...

So what was the line up? Was he in there with Skal? Or was it Mario, Hood, Baze, CJ and Dame? Did it end up working... or not?
I can't remember now. I assume it was just for a short time?

That line up scattered the Mavs and it was positive until they brought in Maxi. Then Stotts went back to Whiteside.
