    That game highlighted the glaring weakness of last year’s team. The starters scored 79 points, while the bench produced only a paltry 13 points. I don’t see that happening tonight.

    So far, I have to hand it to Olshey and Co. While most people around here were advocating significant changes to the starting lineup after the Pelicans debacle, Blazers management was intent on building up the bench instead. Looks good after two games , but the season is young.

    I liked when we wore our black Rip City jerseys at home last year. It's a shame they were switched out this year.

    I spoke on YouTube with a Wizards fan last night, and I told him that if we double-team Beal and shut him down, and use Nurk in the PnR with no Howard, we should win this game. And he agreed. He thinks Portland is going to win tonight.

    That should inspire confidence for us on this end.

    I liked those unis too, along with the red alternates. The black is probably my least favorite, which is weird because I think it’s the best one to wear as a fan.

    Less than 5-1 out of the first 6 given who they play would be disappointing. They SHOULD start fast and have given indications that they have the ability to do that.
