Coming back from 3 games to 1 against Pittsburgh last year and numerous game 7 wins should have taught the Debbie downers it ain't over till it's over.

This team has basically shown no offense the entire playoffs. Now Zucc is out. How the hell could you possibly be confident.

Because we have lost by 1 stupid goal. Not sure why you feel the need to win 5 to 4 when 1 to 0 or 2 to 1 is just as good

The bottom line is that they need to put some pucks in the net . Brooks in he post today noted that in 41 of the last 65 playoff games the Rangers have scored two goals or fewer. You can't expect to win every game 2-1 or 1-0.

Doesn't that work for both teams?

Yes I'm confident. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Just like people were wrong last year saying Zucc is not effective against big teams, in the playoffs, etc. Now hes the reason the season is over? Come on guys. To speak in such absolutes saying this team is doomed while only down 2-1 is just disappointing to see. I'm going to leave it at that.

Everybody take a chill pill and calm down. This is the team with the best record and by far the best ROAD RECORD. We have had the better of play in everything except putting the puck in the net and fluke goals. That will change tonight as we not only tie this sucker up at 2, we score 3 or more goals and Nash gets off the sneed with a goal tonight. We are not losing a series to this caps team. Period. Now lets get ready to celebrate tonights win and stop all the psychoanalyzing till this season is over sometime in june.:clap:

I'll bottom line it like this. Win game 4 and the series is in our favor with home ice for 2 of the 3 remaining games left. Lose game 4 and VERY strong odds are we lose the series.

So to me no reason to be negative right now. I believe we have been the better team in the series thus far. I also believe the winner of game 4 wins the series. So why be negative now...let's see game 4 before we get negative. If we win tonight why would anyone be negative???

The way I see it is if we lose tonight, we'll have PLENTY of time to be negative...:).

Not much to give. Losing game 3 is a bad omen when tied 1-1. All I will give is my opinion which is the winner tonight wins the series. I feel strongly about that.

I don't mind being thrown under the bus, or whatever the rosy-
glassed fans think. All of us have been watching this team perform
with lack luster offense. Several key players have not been able
to finish. Being a Ranger my whole life
    , I have shown allegiance
through the good and bad years. This has been a good year.
We fans will not accept anything less than obtaining the SC.

During the SC playoffs each series is different. During this
series so far, Washington has limited Rangers in opportunistic
offense to score goals. Both goalies have been spectacular, and
yes a 1 goal differential is really splitting hairs. Every game
has been a goal difference. Offense does not exist....

I just do not think there is anyone on this team that
can break through and make a difference. I hope
I am wrong. But guess what ? That's how I see it.

Game 3 peiod 1 synopsis: Rangers outplayed and
outshot Caps, but showed nothing for their effort.
Score: 0-0. Rest of the game was back and forth
hockey....Caps score a fluke. Game over.

I'd be more optimistic if the team came back and
scored the equalizer, but all I saw was individual
frustration, not team frustration. So, pardon me
for not being a "Go team, Go team Rah, Rah, Rah"
when they are flat lining before my eyes.

I think scoring first will be important tonight

Here's to hoping Stepan, Nash, and McDonaugh get on the scoresheet

Oh, and BTW if Rangers do win. You can expletive me
all day long. I would expect nothing less.

    To the team: JUST FINISH!
