good post btw, I enjoy the conversation.

 

I believe this team would be better and would produce more wins with Nurk. Collins, and Hood playing.
Just my take.
They would be deeper and would have more options on both defense and offense.

We 2-16 from the 3 if not hitting them you have do something different with the offense this one reason this is close.

 

IDK personally I think Aminu covered up a lot of the defensive mistakes Stotts' system has.
A decent portion of last year I was complaining about Aminu and his lack of being in the right spot and defensive lapses.
I never really cared about his offensive production because I could see how productive he was on the other end.
But with that gone.... I just don't think Stotts and co really knows how to coach defense.
This zone thing to me is proof of that as either the players are usually out of position. Or he doesn't know how to put them in position in the zone properly.
With the history Stotts has. I go more with him being at fault than the players.

Then doesn't get back on defense and block the layup by Lonzo.

 

I think they (and me too) were hoping Zach could do similar things to Aminu and I think he's a better shot blocker (not as good on the perimeter though).

Dame & CJ have 31 points on 31 shots...that's not good basketball

 

No urgency out of this team especially on offense and we are lucky that the pelicans are not playing well.

Pelicans average 15 made threes a game according to the pregame show.
They're 11-26 tonight.
Portland has made 2 threes tonight...
They're 2-17

KJ got snarky with the "overreact much?", so I got snarky back! No problem there, I'm fine with being feisty, and KJ obviously is too. I don't take this forum too seriously... But here's what I gather from this: what you're telling me is if I don't like what someone's posting, all I have to do is say that I'm taking a break from the thread, tag someone telling them to PM me in the same post that I personally attack someone, then I'll have a Mod come to my defense? Sweet!

From now on, if you have something to say, be a good Mod and PM me, instead of this public scapegoat bullshit where you're defending your boy attacking me.

And this shit comes after you deleted someone threatening something outside my life and then deleting it without reaching out to me. I appreciated your message where you said "We like to reach out" via PMs, but now you're doing this? Eric wouldn't be mocked if he didn't come in with that snarky, condescending self-righteous BS.
