I don't get the point. He is a 5 year player that is productive on both ends pretty much all the time. Very solid guy that i personally think the Blazers could use. He plays hard every game i have ever watched the guy play and he always shoots well. Tonight he shot 6-11 had 5 rebs and 7 asts. 15 points. Seems like every game he is a factor for them.

Not to take a page out of Scalma's book but ingles is exactly the kind of player Collins needs to play against and get beat by so he can learn. The video needs to be rolling after that game.

This is a very jinx-able area to comment on. Maybe we should just leave it be?

Actually, it wasn't a very good breakdown at all. Because it didn't take into account if both teams were missing their best players when they played each other. We really didn't have any injuries to speak of (unless you wanna talk about Moe). So we were pretty much always at full strength when we played against teams missing their best player(s). Whereas most other teams had major injuries, so HOU playing MIN while both CP3 and Butler are injured counts as each team playing against an opponent without their best player when it should actually be a wash. It's very different than us playing those short-handed teams while we're at full strength. To say everyone benefited equally is horse shit - that would only be true if Dame had missed 15-20ish games.

You can't have consistency when you have no discipline and you're essentially playing street ball. We play as if we don't have a coach or a game plan.

We blew out a great Spurs team in their building in 2013. It’s a record. Their worse loss there ever.

Those players were injured for many games, not just when we played them. Also- if you want to discount wins against injured teams then you should discount the three championships Golden State won in the last 4 years. In 2015, the Cavs didn’t have Love or Kyrie and Cavs still won 2 games. In 2017, Kawhi got hurt while the Spurs were blowing them out. They matched up very well with that team, beating Warriors by 30+ in Oakland during regular season. In 2018, they were down 2-3 in WCF and lucked into a Chris Paul injury. Even without Paul on the Rockets, the Warriors needed Houston to miss 27 straight threes in order to beat them.

So. The Warriors aren’t a dynasty at all. Just a lucky team that would have just one championship (in the 1970s) if their opponents had been healthy.

Injuries are just as much a part of the game as missed shots, not boxing out, blown defensive covers, etc.

You buckle down and work through them when they happen to you, and you take full advantage when they happen to your opponents.

Just think how lucky all the teams who didn’t have to play us with a fit Walton, Bowie, Sabonis, Roy, Oden were.

I miss Mike And Mike cause they were ours. I realize they weren't perfect and had their flaws. But it felt like they just got shanked and nobody can even that's what happened. I was listening to one of their old broadcasts the other night and I didn't even realize they were gone. That broadcast felt so "down home" I didn't even notice the dated commentary. By contrast, the fans relationship with Calabro And Hurd seems forced. So many people go out of their way to applaude them and complliment from them.... that feels like it's almost from awkwardness. Mike & Mike just did their job and went on about their business. Calabro And Hurd feel like they are talking to the Blazers brass as much as they are the every day fan. And I find thst annoying.

But we do have a game plan. Shoot lots of highly contested shots without much ball movement. It's just not a very good game plan.

    Coulda, woulda, shoulda.... versus actuality.
