    He spent the off season getting in shape because he was 30-50lbs over weight.

    You might think CJ looks like a 6th man. But there is no guard on this roster since Matthews left in FA who deserves to start over CJ.
    So no, he's not a 6th man on this roster.
    Just like Crawful wasn't a 6th man on the Knicks roster.
