fully agree, playing shortish PG's who don't play D much kills our D and team balance. If our GM has a brain he could get some very good nice assets for CJ or Dame (probably CJ) and we'd IMO be a better. more balanced team the next several yrs IMO

IMO Dame is clearly better at getting to the rim while CJ sure seems the better overall shooter from mid range and 3 - "some" of that may be because Dame forces too many long 3's especially and attracts more attention. The one worry I'd have with CJ at PG would be his turnovers, now maybe with playin that position regularly he'd clean it up, I'd think Dame would return greater value but enough to make a significant difference? and Dame is the face of this franchise so would mgmt trade him over CJ?

    How was Napier?
Time to launch the 3-guard rotation in the backcourt. 2 of Dame, CJ and Napier the entire game. We do this and we start winning

I'm tempted to "like" that, but I think I need more evidence.

Oh, I don't think there's any way we'd trade Dame. And I get it. But it's not like he's an amazing PG. He's very good at scoring, and a very good leader (maybe?) and face of the franchise - but he's fairly pedestrian in all other aspects of the game. I don't think the talent gap between he and CJ is that big. If Dame had been able to sustain what he was doing the first couple weeks of the season then this wouldn't even be a discussion - but he didn't.

Don't you recognize the Reverend Jim "Iggy" Ignatowski, from Taxi?

Of course, he had more hair back then.

Listen fuckers, my hair was perfect! Perfect dammit! But 28 trips outside around the fountain in the rain looking for all of you and one trip during the game down to the smoking thing on the 100 level, also in the rain, to sober up @BLAZINGGIANTS so he didn't barf all over the court when we were shooting baskets will do that.

Thanks for organizing that Sly. I had a great time. I will try to post some random pics from the shoot around. Here is one from our seats. We had a view of the whole arena. It was pretty cool.

PLEASE NO!!! The defense was better last night because we didn't have so many Terry Stotts small ball guards running around all at the same time. We actually had some size to guard and trap people with.

I guess the evidence is that we lost (to a decent Toronto team) by a handful of points - instead of the usual handful of points + 20.

I must add, from a purely entertainment view, it was quite refreshing to watch much better effort, ball movement and defense; compared to games as of late.
So it was nice to spend an evening watching decent bball return to my favorite team despite the outcome.
