Btw if i'm Napier, I would kick Nurkic right in his Ass for not hitting the shot after that great Pass. That would have been a top 10 Pass at the end of the Season

Exactly this. Nurk "sells" the contact, but he doesn't invent contact that didn't happen. Would I rather NBA officiating not require that a player "sell" contact? Of course. But the NBA is what it is. Gotta play the game.

Yup. There’s a difference between what Nurk does and an actual flop artist like Harden who snaps his head back when someone grazes his elbow. THAT is cheating the game.

I want people around here to remember this the next time the Blazers jack up 60 jump shots.

Good point, but interestingly, Nurk got called for an offensive foul when he didn't sell hard enough.

The only time I’ve complained about the refs is when Lillard attacks the basket over and over and gets literally 0 calls. If the team “jacks up 60 jump shots” they don’t deserve to go to the line.

That game is why Nurk is fool's gold, I hate to say. He is unwilling or unable to do that every night. First time I have seen him dunk since last year.

So you wouldn't bring him back at all? He is ONLY fools gold if he gets MAX imo and he won't so I am fine with having him. Remember, we won't have cap space to replace him if we just let him walk.

One last thing, he is very young. His maturity level is going to improve and he isn't the player he will be in 3 years.

    Yes. Sure.

So that's one ref caused win for the Blazers and 9976 ref caused wins for Blazer opponents.

Nurkic just reminds me of the too cool high school player who suddenly becomes good and now thinks he’s a bad ass. The strut, being overly dramatic when he gets touched, all of it. I could live with it if he was tough but i don’t think he is.

Yea he's too old to develop his offensive game any further. Couple that we his weak defense and he's straight Pyrite.

Well for one CJ is a proven 20+ PPG scorer. That is something they really need. They need a player who can ISO and get you a bucket, CJ would be a perennial all-star in the east too.

I wouldnt do that deal if I were Phila GM/owner, no way whatsoever... they are in the rebouilding process and I say roll the dice for the couple of years and see how team develops, in that time, Saric value will become higher than it is right now cause he is sure thing and when it comes to Fultz, well he practically didnt play this season, so its hard to tell if hes gonna develop as they expect etc

they gain absolutely nothing by adding CJ while sending Fultz & Saric away... they should trust the process for couple of years and see how it goes, if it doesnt work, then do some trades, shake things a bit... Embiid and Simmons are clearly untouchable on that team, both now and in the future, but when it comes to Fultz, Saric, Covington, they all are valuable assets and I believe they will be available in the future if things doesnt work as expected, or just to get better player(s) by moving them

and I dont know Phila cap situation, can they afford big contracts as of now, but you can see their roster is filled with talent and veterans, so CJ doesnt make sense for them, other than being a bad deal..
