There really should be no Blazers fans that don't want Leonard to succeed. Being frustrated when he struggles is different but there have been many posts about how much better this team could be if Leonard gets to where his potential points to. I will continue to root for him and also be frustrated at times with the process because in both cases I want what is best for the team.

And for the record I really do have a ton of faith in Olshey to be able to do this as well and make the right decision because I really do believe that he wants what is best for the team and oddly enough I'm not sure you can always say that about some GM's

All I want is to see NARDS become a smart player. I will always root for him to succeed and will eat much crow if he does. I can accept that because that's all I want. I am unlike haters like Snobs, that will jump on the player and ignore the great performances. I want nothing more than Leonard to be a great player and lifelong Blazer!

Just watched the game on league pass archive earlier today. Meyers was hitting his shots and that really helps the spacing for our other players on the court. I hope he's taken TRob spot in the rotation. Tonight TRob jacked up a long jumper early in the shot clock. Why the hell would he think he can ever do that? The roll for our 5th offensive option on the court is to provide intangibles and let the starters win or lose the game. If your a shooter hit open shots; if not pass and go for rebounds. I'd rather have Damian shoot a 30 footer with 1 on the shot clock and a hand in his face then TRob shooting any sort of a jumper. His percentages are atrocious but he continues to shoot them every few games. One of the lowest basketball IQ players I've ever seen.

Damian was awesome as usual. He had an impressive block, as he's done in a few games this year. His defense is much improved; I'd probably call him an average NBA defender now which is a massive improvement from where he was as a rookie. A lot of crap play from our team but our defense is keeping us in these games. I was glad to see Wes was ok after his injury but I'd rather have the team be overly cautious with the injuries and hold a player out of the game. It would be interesting seeing what CJ or Crabbe could do with the time; its such a long regular season lets make sure our players have zero elevated risk of re-injury before they go back into a game.

I suppose next game we might start Meyers. Kaman looks better as a backup with Blake. Miami has fairly easy big men to guard so I think Meyers might be able to handle that. If we face a matchup nightmare frontcourt like Marc Gasol & ZBo we'd have to start Kaman because they would abuse Meyers inside. It will sure be nice when Freeland gets back but for the next few games lets see what Meyers, LMA and Kaman can do as a big man rotation with a few minutes of stretch 4's. Clavier or even Dorell would be fine for 10 mins in that role against backups; but please no more TRob.
