Ayton built like Oden - plays like a timid/less rebounding version of Kanter.

That's what I'm thinking. If we get CJ and Nurk back, it'll be a totally different ball game.

Not sure what I'm looking forward to more - CJ playing, or because CJ is playing, Hood won't be....

Shitty fourth quarter or did the Suns execute an actual game plan? The Suns did the same thing in the third quarter of the previous game against the Blazers, where they completely locked them down defensively. As we’ve seen all season, because this team has no game plan whatsoever, a singular good quarter by the opposition is usually enough to send the Blazers home with a ‘L’.

The Blazers, missing their 2nd and 3rd best players, were in a position to win the game and then collapsed late. With those guys, I'm confident we are the better team.

It’s interesting that you guys don’t make the connection between us playing badly and the refs completely jobbing us on both ends.

meh....Portland was hot in the 1st Q; Phoenix was hot in the 4th Q. Better to be hot in the 4th Q

and of course the big one: when Portland had the ball it was the 7th rated offense against the 3rd rated defense. When Phoenix had the ball it was the 8th rated offense against the 28th rated defense. One mismatch is all it takes

    Couple things i noticed.
Trent is shooting but he isn't hitting well at all. I feel he needs to continue to shoot and get through this. We all know he can hit those open 3's he was missing tonight. It will come back.
Simons has gained some confidence and his shot seems to be falling better. he made a couple more mistakes tonight he will learn from.
Little continues to play pretty well and i have noticed he is settling down a bit. Seems like he is more comfortable.
They went all in on stopping Lillard like all teams do. The Blazers needed CJ to make them pay for that.
Lillard/CJ > Booker/Paul If the Blazers are full strength and have Nurk vs Saric with CJ also available this game goes in the win column.

Butts kicked...get the next one! Go Blazers...nothing about that 4th qtr is worth remembering...and I think a player or two are close to their last games as a Blazer...we'll see. Rodney is one...I think he's outta here....

Blazers were in a position to win and they made a number of huge mistakes and they also missed key shots down the stretch.
The reason i don't blame the refs is because it never should have been in the position that a refs call was what they were looking for.
The Blazers lost that game. The Suns did not win it and the refs did not take it away. Simple as that.
