Hahahaha. If a 23% three point shooter happens to knock down a bunch of threes because we go under, that's not bad coaching. That's good coaching that doesn't work out because of an absolute fluke. Quit making up narratives about what he/we would say to try to discredit us.

What I'd be interested in see is if WB for once in his life is actually hot would Stotts adjust or would they keep guarding him the same way...

Yeah....after basically 9 years of an up market and a massive 'up' in 2017, people forget the market goes down sometimes. It's good to have corrections and are great buying opportunities.

I already said I'd give Stotts credit if they play it the right way. Westbrook is incapable of making 4 straight 3's. If for some crazy reason he actually did get hot then you tip your cap and and move on knowing that you played him the right way and it just didn't work out.

Okay so we have our answer. It's what immediately popped into my head when i read it. Now remember Westbrook is a career 30% shooter and has been as high as 34% so we know he can hit them.
Now here is the other look.
They go around the screen. He gets space. What do you think he is going to do with space?

Nope this will cause either a switch or he will blast his way to the hoop and he will get calls all night long. if the Blazers are in good form they might be able to guard him and the drive and dish.

Evan Turner is a 30% 3pt shooter as well, with a career high of 37%. So using your logic, we know Turner can hit threes.... What...?

Giving up a shot that a player is scoring 0.9PPP on for his career and 0.7PPP this season on is good coaching. Much better than letting him get a wide open run-way down-hill.

I can't believe your arguing that we should go over the screen on a player who's shooting 23% from 3 this year who's lethal when he gets a head of steam downhill.

Going under the screen doesn't cause a switch. It's much easier than going over, as you don't have to fight through the screen. What are you talking about???

I did not argue for this team to go over a screen. I think it is you that gets upset when people put words into your statements.
