Imagine putting your best player on a second PP unit with players who can’t hit water falling out of a boat. Lavi is being retarded with him

Cullye held against the wall worse than what Lindgren did, ref 1 foot away, nothing. Dumbest fucking officiating and most clearly biased officials. Unreal. Campbell effect 100%.

Tkachuk goes into Igor, no call. I’d be a-ok with Tkachuk Palxico Burress-ing himself.

I knew Florida would come out strong in period two but that’s not excuse to concede everything here. Kreider, Mika and Panarin need to give them something here.

Well, that was a terrible period. Figured it would happen at some point, but that was almost like the 3rd period in game 3. Love Igor, and in no way is it his fault they are behind, but we have to be fair and call it like it is, that was a terrible first goal he allowed, cannot do it. Now the comment can be made, he saved other would-be goals with great saves, but that isn't how being a goalie is usually judged. It's the ones you let in, and that was a bad goal no way around it. Again, not his fault we no showed the 2nd and are trailing, and I expect him to be very good in the 3rd.

If you look at the last PP and see the puck jump over Panarin's stick, to me that is lack of focus and head in the game. Again, we have to be real, while maybe not as bad, Panarin has been back to playoff Panarin since game 4 against the Canes. He has to step it up, and somebody left me know when Zibanejad, Kreider, and Fox show up in the series.

I said before the game, get me in the 3rd in a one goal game, and we are there. Win the 3rd period and we'll be in a great spot. Won't be easy as Florida hasn't lost in a very long time when leading into the 3rd, but I have to think after that pile of sh*t period the Rangers will play better in the 3rd, it would be difficult not to.

Zibanejad looks like he's in another time zone.

    PP1- Laf/Kreider/Goodrow/Trocheck/Gus
    PP2- Panarin/Z/Roslovic/Wheeler/Fox

Make Panarin and Z earn their way back up. Fox should just stay PP2.

It's hard for me to imagine the Rangers raising their level of play tonight to where it needs to be to win this game in the 3rd and I have been one to say it's not over in almost every game they've played this season when trailing. They really have been remarkably good at coming back in the final period. They are going to have to find something in this intermission to prepare them for what they're up against.

It's now almost a guarantee now that they will come from behind once again.

They have generally sucked in the second period this postseason with a few exceptions. If not for some shit officiating and bad pick bounces it’s likely 1-1 as you figure Florida would’ve scored one at some point. Shit officiating and bad puck luck has hurt us. Z hitting crossbar, Laf hitting post have both come back to bite us.

Lav is not putting Goodrow on PP1, nor should he. Can you make the case to move Lafreniere up right now considering how locked in he has been, sure, but you could also say the PP scored tonight, and has been a weapon all season long, to change a unit that has pretty much been together all, but the 10 games Fox missed, is a tough call. I can see moving Lafriniere up though if Lav wanted to mix it up.

I would really love to win this game. If we lose it puts a ton of pressure on us in game 5 where I think the winner of that game will win the series, meanwhile getting a win tonight really puts us in a good spot.

Let's go in the 3rd, at least play a strong period and give yourself the best chance possible!!

Goodrow wins board battles and can win faceoffs. He is willing to also get in front of goal and the more bodies in front of Bob the better. Mika hasn’t shown he’s worthy of PP1 time. Panarin is back to his usual refusing to shoot self and brain farting out there when the puck comes his way. What’s the worst that happens? We don’t score on the PP? That’s been par for the course.
