So after 1...Stepan continues to suck, Kreider continues to be invisible, Ziba still looks lost, defensemen look confused still and lost in the zone and in the neutral zone. Unreal. Came out looking great and then they settled back into their normal, usual, careless, stupid head up their asses selves.

Hank continues to be the only Ranger playing with passion. He needs to demand a trade to a winner because he has EARNED a Cup.

Are the Rangers playing with a pulse tonight unlike game 3, sure, but that is the only bar they have gotten over. Montreal had 2 breakaways and a 2 on 1 that turned into a 2 on 0 goal. And the Rangers PP still sucks and kills momentum.

I see no way the Rangers win this game. I think they are playing way too loose and careless. I saw nothing that makes me think they'll win this game.

Had a chance to really take hold of this and they continue to just make mental blunder after mental blunder.

If Arneil is here next season we might as well count on another inept PP costing us a playoff run again. Seriously. If I was as bad at my job as he is at his, I would have been fired YEARS ago.

Team just looks flat nervous now on home ice.

What an awful job by both Skjei and Holden on that play.

Looking at that goal again, why the hell is Kreider going for a change when there's a puck battle there? He needed to get involved, help his rookie defenseman win that battle and THEN get a change. Also, Stepan coasted back into the defensive zone, and even if Holden doesn't look like a lost puppy, Montreal still would've had a solid 2 on 1 because of his pussyfooting back into the zone. Like I said, for $6M and a NTC kicking in this coming year, the Rangers NEED to trade him for anything, regardless of return because his play and lackadaisical attitude will only continue to get worse.

Great pass to Nash. The Rangers are playing much better here.

Gallagher needs an elbow to his face.

What an absolutely nonsense call on Stepan.

That was a great period by the Rangers. Only downside was only scored 1 goal, and certainly over passed. Need to shoot and stop the fancy stuff.

I like that we killed that penalty late, you have to figure we are due a PP soon considering they had 2 and we had 0 in the 2nd.

Huge 3rd period coming up...I'd love to score the next goal and play with a little margin for error.

    Come on...

I love how optimistic you are that the refs will give us a PP. They owed this team majorly after missing too many men on the ice for the Canadiens only goal and they came out and called nothing on Montreal and a bogus call on Stepan. Don't expect the refs to give the Rangers any breaks. I fully expect at least 2 more PPs for them and MAYBE one for us, which will be nullified by a bogus penalty.

Also, Stepan cannot take any more draws. AV needs to put someone else out there for draws and then have them leave the ice if necessary to get Stepan on the ice because he is legitimately that awful on draws.

They have to play the third the same way. If they go into that shell like in Game 2 it isn't going to end well.

Don't fall back into the defensive shell is right....this team cannot play that way and just hold on. Would like to see long periods of play with no whistles...get and convert on some scoring chances!
