Just play the kids. This series is pretty much over. If you cant beat that third-string goalie then get the fuck out of the playoffs.

2nd goal was a tap in? If you don't think Igor has let in 2 or 3 soft goals the past 2 games I don't know what to say. Not all of them, but 2 or 3 for sure. But overall I agree it is not just him, team just came out flat again tonight. And their 3rd string goalie is outplaying our goalie.

Would also be fucking amazing if this team would shoot the fucking puck and stop overpassing. No team passes up more shots to pass it into a worse shot than this team.

Over passing, cannot win a FO, Z no show, Igor not playing near his Vezina trophy level, Nemeth a mistake waiting to happen. Just a total S show, and tonight has been the worst effort by far. Total embarrassing no show.

Pens are keeping Rangers outside and the Rangers are more than happy to stay out there
Meanwhile Pens are crashing the net and getting goals.

Take the experience for the young players and look forward. Commit to developing Lafreniere and Kakko. Hopefully Robertson can make the jump next year. A faceoff stud for the 4th line would make sense.

    The un-awareness defensively is laughable.

If Drury and Gallant don’t take the blame for this shit by coming out and saying that signing Nemeth and trading for Braun whom was barely played since acquiring were complete busts than both of them can go fucking swim in the Hudson with cement boots on.

There's definitely something to having playoff experience. The Pens definitely playoff ready right now while the Rangers are going to learn.

Zibanajad continuing his mediocre playoff play. If he's not going to produce this team will always be in big trouble.

The Penguins seem to just want it more. Jarry going out might be a huge negative for the Rangers as they seem to let down and Pitt focused more.

The Rangers came out in game one hitting and playing physical. They then decided to abandon that and stick check.

Sadly, I predicted this before this series started. Granted, I didn't expect Lindgren and Goodrow to get hurt. Blais and Motte was bad enough. A young team like this can't overcome losing those types of players.

Saw this period coming from a mile away after the terrible first by the Rangers. And Igor hasn't made a big save in Pitt. It's a shame it ends this way. Hard to say how much you learn after this pile. But the Pens experience helped for sure, but being real tonight is an embarrassment. To play like this with the season on the line is a joke.

If they don't improve the 3rd line D (maybe kids can handle that internally - we'll see) and FINALLY add a player who can win a FO they should fire Drury.

Also Chytil needs to be ready for the # 2 C role or he needs to be traded. He is not a 3rd line C. You need more grit as 3rd line C. Copp can be 3rd line C, Chytil totally messes up the line flow as the 3rd line C. I love Lafreniere/Copp/Goodrow as the 3rd line. That would be awesome.

This is for another day, but let's remember such a young team, and ahead of the timeline this year. Let's remember that as we talk it through the next few days/weeks.

In a way that Fox goal angers me more. What a shocker you shoot the puck and good things can happen. We will NEVER learn that. Until we do, and add a guy who can win a FO, not sure we'll ever truly be a playoff ready team.
