Look at the 1st period in game 1. Came out on fire hitting like crazy. Since then nada. Maybe losing that first game crushed them mentally.

Maybe they can somehow get it together and get it to a game 6 with their backs against it.

Great season but it's looking obvious they weren't ready for the playoffs just yet.

    Here is what I want:

    Kreider/Z/Vatrano
    Panarin/add a # 2 who can win a FO/Kakko
    Lafreniere/Copp/Goodrow
    Kid/Kid/Reaves/Motte/Kid

    Lindgren/Fox
    Miller/Trouba
    Kid/Schneider

And BTW - Pen interview after period 1, Pen interview after period 2. ESPN is a joke.

Agreed - better for another day, but cannot lose sight of this. Joke performance here, but team is ahead of schedule with a lot of kids. We have to keep perspective.

What scares me though is Igor mentally capable in big spots? Panarin and Z playoff players? Those things concern me moving forward.

For my money they should see what panerin brings back. Saves a ton on salary and don’t think he’s the clutch playoff guy we need. Lindgren needs to go also. They need a competent young d like Chychrun or someone of that caliber. Time to start moving some of the farm that’s never playing here starting with lundqvist for some proven players

Usually they play better on the road in the playoffs.

and I bet 100% Georgiev is starting game 5. What's the average age of pens players? like 38 lol. So many old guys.

And another Pen interview. That is 3-0 Pen interviews by ESPN. What a joke.

At this point I have given up on the Rangers smartly trading some kids. Neither Gorton nor Drury has done it, so we'll waste them and then they'll go play somewhere else.

Kakko is a good player but he is as soft as a babies ass along with being hurt a lot

This game was such a pathetic no show for virtually the whole team, I am not even upset anymore. What is the point really? They didn't play with anything tonight, so why get upset.

I would start Georgiev in game 5. And then I would take the positives out of the season, know what needs to be added, and get it done this summer Drury. We are not ready yet that's for sure.

Any of Kravtsov, Jones, Lundkvist and Robertson are fair game imo. I still believe in Kravtsov but it's more likely he's traded. I wouldn't be surprised if they used this year's 1st in a deal either.

Miller was excellent in the 2nd half of the year but i think he still tries to get by too much on finesse, but he's got a high ceiling for sure, just needs to get a bit tougher.

I’m assuming you mean Gallant. He’s got a lot of obsessions over guys who shouldn’t be on the ice in a preseason game let alone a playoff game.

I think dump and I were the only ones here who had doubt about the Rangers going into this series. Who knows what would have happened had Lindgren and Goodrow not gotten hurt. But injuries happen and normally at the worst time.
With game 5 being in NY Shesterkin will get the start and rightly so. But if the Rangers happen to pull off a victory then they have to make a tough decision about the goalie for game 6.
Let's not forget that Lundqvist's first playoff experience was getting absolutely steam rolled by the Devils....
