but if ever there was a time to sell high on a young guy now is that trade deadline....he's hoopin' but he's still not 6'8...I ate the Ant crow already but he's built interest around the league by now

Ant has been quite good (offensively) as the PG. Wonder how he would be as a SG next to Dame. It's a bit of a mute point him being this good as a PG as long as Dame is here.

I don’t think he’d move the needle but I wouldn’t mind Harrison Barnes.

Doing this on Davion Mitchell makes it that more impressive.

I don't think they have a first to give up. They traded everything away for AD.

Yeah they could trade their 2026 first but that's the earliest one they can deal. Also the only salaries that would match would be THT and Nunn. THT, Nunn and a first rounder that's four years away? No thanks.

Ant is not going to be traded unless including him in a trade will net us Ben Simmons, Jaylen Brown or Paskal Siakam.

yeah trading him doesn’t really solve our issue (three guard lineup)

It solves his issue of playing behind 3 vet guards....this kid needs a spotlight, not a towel.

Nope but we got 3 guards signed to long deals now and Ant is going to get paid....teams aren't jumping through hoops for CJs contract ..that bird has flown this season in my view...maybe next year..you could trade Norm instead ...both have tradeable contracts ...CJ just doesn't. Joe has to trade value to get value...Ant is peaking and young

Only now I finished watching the game, all the defensive liabilities were out so we were finally competitive. Ant is special, Watford has a future with the team

I didn't see that our defensive problems were solved tonight or that we even showed anything different. I saw the Kings miss a ton of open shots... I mean it was crazy. We were giving them the same wide open looks that have made us the worst defensive team in the league and they just could not hit them and it's not because their a terrible three point shooting team, they're 17th in the league at hitting threes and shoot them at 34.6% which if they were doing what everyone else does should have gone up like 4% against us but they just weren't shooting as well as they normally do. Nothing we did, they were just off.

Actually after they missed all of those shots we're the second worst defense in the league... for now.

I said a week or so ago I wanted to see consistency from ANT and he is answering the call! Last 4 games very impressive, if he can keep averaging 17-22 PPG with 6-7 assists that would be awesome. Happy for him and team as his emergence if continued (feeling much better about that) gives us more options
