Laf is terrible. I don’t want to hear about him anymore. No speed and cannot be out there in OT. Gallant is a moron. Krav playing well and demoted him. Krav is the type of player that needs to be out there in OT. Zman killing us with all the missed chances. Thank you Igor for getting us a point!

Oh please don’t give me that Lafreniere shit open your fucking eyes. Panarin was a fucking embarrassment in this game from the drop of the puck all the way to the end he didn’t even fucking skate. The first power-play unit stays on the fucking ice forever they refuse to come off because there’s no accountability. Trocheck had his head up his ass all game he never got benched. Typical New York Ranger fan base blame the young guys and give the vets a pass.

Maybe some gm will bite and give Drury a first for Laf in this draft. They will have three picks in the first round. Package them and get Bedard.

Just stop. The kid has done absolutely nothing all year. When they win not a peep from you. A bad lose and it's like an opportunistic moment for you to cry about your boy toy.

Not blaming the young guys dump. But Laf just doesn’t have it. The others I like. We’re not going anywhere with gallant kowtowing to the vets. Goodrow and trocheck are nothing special. Make a ton of mistakes and never suffer any consequences. I’m sick of panerin too staying on I’ve forever and floating on defense.

I think he's going to end up in Vancouver or Chicago at the DL.

With Othmann waiting in the wings you would think it's either him or Laf will go. There is no room in the upcoming years for all the young guys especially knowing this franchise prefers the vets over the young forwards.

Dude you guys suck more vet cock than any fan base I've ever seen. Lafreniere was the reason we were up 1-0. Go watch Panarin every shift in this game. I'll tell you right now, he was hungover. Go watch every shift of this overpaid schmuck. He looked like he was 60 years old in this game. He should have been benched early in the first and should be scratched next game yet you are bitching about a kid who got us the lead. Pathetic. 717 you have been sucking vet cock for years and like the coaches here, you never hold them accountable. By the way 717 you buffoon, Lafreniere basically has as many even strength points as Zibanejad, Kreider, Trocheck and Panarin when you espeically factor in how much less icetime he gets. Do some research dipshit.

Panarin has 27 even strength points playing over 20 minutes a game. Zibanejad has 24 even strength points playing over 20 minutes a game. Trochek has 17 even strength points playing over 20 minutes a game. Kreider has 21 even strength points playing 19 minutes a game. Lafreniere has 17 even strength points playing about 15 minutes a game. That's with never getting any PP time to get the confidence going because the selfish, shithead vets on this team stay out on every PP for 1:40 even when they are tired because our coach is a pussy who spreads his ass cheeks for the vets on this team.

Love how the way Joe on the last play was talking about Lafreniere trying to pass on a 2 on 1. How about the fact that Chytil who is 23 looked like he had been on the ice for 5 minutes trying to get back on d. Maybe the reason Chytil is always hurt is because his conditioning sucks ass.

And guys like goodroow vescey and Julian have as many goals with less ice time than Laff ..yet we need to cater to the baby.

You suck off every prospect like they are Cindy crosby.

Guess what every team has prospects and every team gms sucks every coach in the league sucks...the entire NHL has less knowledge than you.

I still think Laf will end up a good nhler who will be 50 to 60 points guy. I don't think he will be a huge difference maker like Hughes though. He just does not seem like he has it in him and thats fine.

Hughes has a super power - his skating is top notch star level. Lafreniere doesn't have that, and he needs to make up for it by shooting more, being more aggressive, creativity etc. The kid has excellent skills overall though, his Jr. numbers and his NHL even strength numbers show that. He just needs more maturity, a consistent motor, and experience. He'll get there, but he needs to put in the time and work.

What would you like? A new coach every season? You had a fire Gallant thread up last November. I'm sorry but it can't be taken seriously. If hockey had a WAR Stat like baseball Lafreniere would be an 0.1 if he's lucky. Suck of the vets.....what does that even mean? When they win you're silent because who's leading the charge of those wins? It's certainly not Laf who you have this odd devotion towards. I would like him to do well but at this point he has done absolutely nothing.

It's a cultural thing with this organization. Look who has been in charge behind the scenes for the last 23 years. The first thing Sather did when he came is signing any vets he could lay his finger on. It continued for years until Hank and to some extent Jagr came and dragged this team to the playoffs. The vets are always given the preference over young forwards. It's like with all other NY teams.

I suppose Chytil doesn't count..the kid has been given lots of chances here...kakko has been promoted but that doesn't count.
There is this mad rush to push young kids over established vets..why? We were 1 win and 1 period away from the finals last year and all we hear is how the coach sucks and this savior is being screwed.

What is the first PP unit supposed to do...change while the puck is in the offensive zone?

I give up trying to explain it. You would think after watching this organization win nothing since 1994 people would learn. Watching the team put two rookies in Kovalev and Zubov on the first PP unit and playing them a ton. If you think Trochek, Kreider, Panarin, etc... are going to lead this team to the cup, you're delusional.

Then GIVE UP trying to explain it instead of beating the dead horse when it fits your narrative.
If you think a Lafreniere, Kakko and Chytil led Rangers would get into the playoffs at this stage of their careers you know even less about hockey than what you've already shown.
But keep telling us all about how Kakko is going to get an offer sheet this off-season because every other team saw how impactful he is and will become...oh wait, sorry that was last year. How'd that work out anyway? But this year, its 100% going to be Lafreniere getting a big time offer sheet by the Canadiens...he lit them up on Thursday, they must be frothing at their collective poutine-eating mouths to give up substantial draft capital for him. LOL
Maybe it's time we all put Drump on ignore? At least we won't have to keep reading his repetitive messages with blatantly homo-erotic overtones....

Exactly, we get it. You're obsessed with Lafreniere even though he has sucked and think playing him 25 minutes a night and on the PP1 will make him an immortal. That's your position and we've heard it a thousand times.

In an alternative universe, the rangers make the playoffs and win the cup. Laf wins Con Smyth trophy and rides into the sunset showing the finger to everyone. Dump becomes the rangers president and gm and fires everyone on his first day on the job.
