    dafuq.

our roster tonight was more talented than dallas and we got whooped by 40.

Stotts is trash and took the night off because we won on Friday. this game was identical to our GS loss earlier. Won the first game of the series, got satisfied, and took the second game off while letting Curry go for 62 without our idiot fucking coach making a single adjustment on defense.

Well obviously "Tonight" they were not more talented. Maybe tomorrow but certainly not tonight.

wasn't home...couldn't watch the game....didn't record...came home, saw the score, said wut?

was this a case of Dallas playing really well, or Portland playing like total shit? 40 point loss at home....really?

    Portland's big-3 of Dame-CJ-Melo 0-16 from three.....yeeeeeesh. Over an 82 game season that would be 0-1312.

how was Dame moving tonight on his bad knee? This should have been a load management game for him.

Still more talented. May have have played like hot garbage, but our roster is better than theirs.

    • Portland’s reserves outscored the Dallas bench, 42-41. Six of Portland’s nine three-pointers came from the bench.
    • Portland outrebounded Dallas on the offensive glass, 9-8, but the Mavericks obtained a 15-11 advantage in second-chance points.

    • Enes Kanter had four points (2-3 FG), six boards and two assists over 16 minutes.
    • Luka Doncic led Dallas with 37 points (13-19 FG, 8-9 3-PT, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes. His eight made three-pointers tied a career-high, which was set previously against Portland (Jan. 17, 2020).

Blazers were better for 1 quarter out of the last 8. That was enough to get them a split. But it doesn't bode well for playing good teams.

I guess that needed green font. I didn't really think it did but I'm rarely right about that sort of thing.

    Here's another key stat:

Dallas went on a 19-0 run at the start of the 3rd quarter. Game over after that.

    Excuse me?
Watching the game much different than many.
Blazers went completely cold from about 8 mins left in the second quarter. They lead after the first quarter. When they got to about 44 points they pretty much couldn't score. Went into half with 54 and didn't score for the first 4 minutes of the third.
They ended the 3rd quarter with 15 points. That was not because of defense.

Dame never really looks injured but his shot clearly was not falling. he did get a huge dunk but even that ended up on the floor without a call for a foul.

lol wut, you don't understand the game.

we gave up 132 points. and a guy hit 8 threes from essentially one spot on the floor and we didn't bother changing the coverage once.

at least Portland spent about 8 hours in 5th place, before falling back to 6th

and, giving up 132 points on 86 shots won't be good for Portland's stellar defensive rating

    A 19 0 run is inexcusable. In-ex-cus-a-ble.
