That's correct, no 29 more wins.

Maybe we should sit back and wait for them to develop.

Exactly! He's also taller than anyone who would be guarding him. Let the big man throw it!

Sign Jermaine. Trade CJ and pick for Chandler.

Injuries aside. The team is not playing very good basketball. I don't expect this General Manager to make any moves. I expect him to look at it as an opportunity for the young guys and development. And this off season will be when he makes the transformational decisions.

How about upgrading the bench. It's been his job the past two years and he hasn't done much. Kaman is a turnover machine and if he's your only scoring option off the bench, you got probz

31-13, third best record in West. Maybe Conley should go to All Star game instead of Lillard.

I never understood why coaches/teams have point guards (typically), the smallest players on the court, in-bounding the ball late in the game You know the other team is gonna throw a guy 6'8" or bigger to guard him. So why not have one of your bigger players inbound so they can see over the top of everyone else.

It's basically training camp all over again now with different guys playing together. Will take time to adjust. Kaman seems ahead of the curve but his first couple games starting he struggled. It's to be expected

Guys, do you actually watch the games? Chandler is not even that good. If we are trading a pick with CJ we better be getting a legitimate 6th man.

Or at least have him not compete in all 100+ all-star events, like competitive eating and hardcore underwater basket weaving.

Whats frustrating is, they should've been giving minutes to the bench players from the get-go, so they'd know how to play with each other better, in game situations.

At this point, a .500 schedule during the time that LaMarcus is out is probably being optimistic. If they can have 40 wins by the time he comes back, they might be OK. But then there's the adjustment period of him returning and getting back into the flow of things.

But it is a baptism by fire situation for the bench. I do look forward to the time when the Blazers bench doesn't consist of 5 players that are totally unproven (Leonard, Barton, CJ, Crabbe and Robinson) and 2 players that are old and on the downside of their careers (Blake and Kaman) and a player who rarely sees the light of day (Claver)

Kaman's only a problem if you have to start him or play him like a starter.

I also wouldn't complain much about the bench tonight; they scored 27/89 points for us (30% of our points). That's pretty decent, especially when your sixth man is starting at center. In fact, guys who normally don't start scored 50 points total tonight.

I think we're in trouble because, in addition to our injuries, Lillard is in a slump. It's just all too much.

I guess it's because usually big guys are stiffs who don't throw a bunch of passes, or if they are good enough to have good hands, need to be on the court to be an option. Leonard is unique in that he has soft hands but shouldn't be an option.
