Nurk is better or was last year. HW stats don’t eclipse Nuek’s overall. Nurk’s BPM was 5.1 last year vs Hassan’s 2.8 this year. And that’s a weighted average of box score numbers.

I wanted to like Baze as a player, I really did ... But damn it's nice to have a player that knows their role and can make a layup.

true, but keep in mind that a player's BPM is going to be significantly influenced by winning rate & scoring margin. Portland was +4.2 points/game last season and is -1.8 points/game this season, And since BPM is based upon per 100 possessions and Portland averages/averaged more than 100 a game, that 6 point differential is even a little larger between last season and this season

Last season, Portland had 9 players with a positive BPM; this season they only have 3. That's what winning and losing will do to a lot of those stats

yeah...that's what I meant by high post hub. Nurkic was a little like Walton last year when the offense pivoted off of him in the high post and sometimes on the low post elbow

BPM is not a plus minus stat. It’s based purely off of Hassan’s individual box score stats. It’s like PER but with better weights. So I don’t see how WL can affect it. Are you thinking of Win Shares? Blazers had better BPM last year because they had better players playing.

I like how the team has been sharing the ball the last couple games... Ariza looks like a huge upgrade over Bazemore

We still need a back up point guard because no pass CJ isn't cutting it!

    Watched some of the game.

God is CJ awful at everything but shooting. Goos lord. I dont understand how you can be in the league this long and still be awful on defense. At least make it look passable.

Oh wait, hes not a passer...

Would you trade CJ for DeRozan?

    Mario didn't see the court.
1M down to 10 mins or less.
    Little up to 18+ mins
    Trent up to 26 mins
Melo down to 34 mins. (I wouldn't mind seeing this at 30 or less.)
If the team gets Skal, Nurk or Collins back we will not see Biggie at all.
Interested in what they are going to be on the market for? If anything at all?
